ITEM: PAVOI 14K Gold Plated Marquise 1.5CT Marquise Cubic Zirconia (White Gold) PROS: - Honestly, huge shoutout to the company for eco-friendly packaging. The ring still had a very small/thin plastic wrap, but the box and bag were both lovely paper products (stiff colored/coated cardboard for the box, paper press close bag). This is a HUGE pro to me and absolutely overrode the negatives I noted in terms of rating. Every bit counts. - The ring appears as pictured (see cons for one note on this). - The sizing was accurate. NEUTRALS: - I am not a fan of how large the flat face of the stone is or how it’s cut overall. I can’t put my finger on it, but there’s something that just seems off. Catches my eye like a glass stone (it’s not - there is telltale sparkle/fire). CONS: - The band at the base of the gem does appear to be wider/thicker than in the images where the model is wear it. Only slightly, but noticeable to me - I could be wrong though and it could be a trick of the angle it was taken or similar. It matches every other photo to my eye. GIFTABILITY: (All of my packages are sent with Prime Delivery Day and manufacturer’s packaging preference selected. This may impact how things are shipped and cause my packaging experience to differ from yours.) It arrived in Amazon shipping packaging (an envelope with other products). The manufacturer’s packaging was deep, dark green paper box with the brand name on the top and sides in holographic silver. The ring was in a 100% biodegradable bag with a small plastic wrap around it. They included two advertising tracts; one for jewelry and one for active wear. I would say it could be directly gifted. WOULD I PURCHASE? (Any prices noted are as of the time of writing): Yes, I do like the ring and, given the option between two, I will pick the one that takes steps towards sustainability. At $14.45 I find it to be very nicely priced. My rating system is: 5 = no/minimal complaints, very pleased 4 = minor complaints, overall satisfied, but could be better 3 = notable complaints, overall average to ‘meh’ 2 = significant complaints, unhappy and will not keep/use 1 = entirely complaints, misleading descriptions, straight to the trash product.

This is another beautiful ring from Pavoi. I love the marquis cut. It's eye catching and less common than many other cuts. I was also really drawn to the unique setting of this ring. While it's still as solitaire, it's not a solitaire that's just held in by prongs, but instead the band actually follws the cut and curve of the stone on one end. I think most people probably wear it with the pointy end of the stone facing up, but I also like it pointed down. The band is thin, comfortable, and unobtrusive. It accents and complements the stone without drawing attention away from it. The stone is clear, bright, and captures light beautifully. It's not the most sparkly stone I've had, but it's sparkly enough that it looks really good without looking fake or gaudy. I find that the way stones are cut, they can sometimes have what I refer to as a "dead spot". Basically it's a spot where the light kind of just dies, there's no reflection or sparkle off that part of the stone. This stone has a small dead spot right in the center, which is most evident if you look at my closeup pick of the ring on my finger. There's that vertical strip through the center that just looks sort of grey. That's what I am referring to as a dead spot. I don't think that's necessarily a reflection of the quality of the product, I actually think there are some cuts of stones where that's hard to avoid; this being one of them. I would not let that little dead spot deter you from buying on wearing this ring, it's really quite beautiful. The sizing is spot on. I wear a 7 on my ring finger and this fits perfectly. It's rare to find rings that look as real, classy, and beautiful for the price as Pavoi rings do. This is my second ring from them but it won't be my last. Highly recommend.

The marquis gem in this ring is stunning. It has a bright, beautiful sparkle and looks distinctly colorless despite the yellow gold setting. The ring fits true to size with just a little extra room since it has a thin band. I like wearing this as a right hand ring but I can easily see this being a great ring to wear on vacation as a temporary wedding ring so that you don’t lose your expensive one. I wish the band under the stone was a little thinner design-wise but I can’t complain how good this looks. I’m consistently impressed by this brand - the quality of their jewelry for the price provides unrivaled value. This is another winner.

This is literally what I would want my dream engagement ring to be. The band is a soft yellow gold color and the "diamond" is bright and shiny. From a distance it looks like the real deal! Would be great for anyone just wanting to play around or use as a travel ring. I haven't had it for long but so far no tarnishing or green fingers!

This ring is absolutely beautiful. The cut of the CZ really makes it sparkle especially in direct sunlight, honestly it is hard to tell that this is not a real diamond. It is true to size, I purchased a 7 and it fits perfectly on the finger I sized as a 7. The band is a little thinner than I would like but still worth the money.
