The quality is alright. I normally use tarp so this definitely felt thinner. I can’t tell how waterproof it is given the thinness of the fabric. I would say water resistant, but I live in SoCal so no worries. I bought in the color black to match my black patio cover. The piece fit nicely, but I wish the drawstring did more it just cinches the corners not the entire thing. It looks better than using tarp.

We have a kingsize bed, outside, on an open deck with an over head lexan roof to shelter the sleeping area from rain etc. We use the bed to sleep in at night almost every day of the year. Only when there is strong enough wind to blow precipitation under the shelter and onto the bed do we abandon ship. Last year we slept all but three days outside when wind and snow forced us inside. This year we had an unusual windstorm that resulted in us spending an entire week indoors. This cover I had ordered shortly before the week of the storm arrived. It arrived in the middle of the storm. When the wind storm finally stopped we fitted this cover to our bed to protect the bed from any further but unlikely rain or what might come next. It worked perfectly. We were able to fit it to completely surround the bed and headboard then cinch it up so it looked as if it was custom made for the bed. That arrangement was meant to last only a few days, until we resumed sleeping outside. That time came today so we removed the cover and happy to find there to be no dampness or trapped moisture.
