The Panziyu charming oil painting journal kit with the Poplars design is absolutely gorgeous! I mean the graphics are calming and look wonderful in their pastel tones. The kit comes boxed and ready for gifting, BUT the box is flimsy. The inner plastic that holds the journal and accessories arrived cracked in mine and my journal’s cover has an unfortunate bump on one corner. As such, even though my kit is brand new, it was still imperfect. The journal pages are all beautifully decorated, but they are repeated as the sequential order starts over again. If you prefer a completely blank journal for your journaling needs, this honestly isn't it. However, if you're more looking for a kit where you jot down thoughts, feelings, and notes with some stickers, then this is perfect! I love the vellum/washi stickers included as well as the tape— they are just the right touch! I also think the sticky notes are a great way to mark certain pages when needed. The ruler is, unfortunately, thin and flimsy, but still, it’s nice that it's included at all. The journal closes with a magnetic clasp and the pages are medium weight without being too flimsy or heavy like cardstock. It's important to keep in mind that this journal is NOT able to handle bulky accessories as a junk journal would because the binding isn't constructed in that way. Overall, I think the price is very fair and if you know anyone that loves journaling or even just collecting nice stationery, this kit is a wonderful gift! This is a good set with a lot of supplies. It includes a journal with Impressionist art cover, washi sticker sheets, washi tape, sticky notes, scrap paper, and a ruler, all in a gift box. This would be a good beginning set for journaling or junk journaling, and I love the use of Monet’s art as the inspiration for this set.

This set is presented really beautifully. Everything is laid out in custom fit little compartments inside the pretty purple box. The book is gorgeous, with pages full of beautiful prints. I like the magnetic closure on the front too, it adds a nice touch. There's a wide variety of papers and stickers in here and all of them have that beautiful, soft painterly look that matches the book. I really love the washi tapes too, the colors are so pretty. The rule is a nice addition too - I've never seen that in one of these kits before. This would make a fantastic gift. Overall, I'm super happy with this and excited to use it. How I rate items: ⭐ 1 Star – Unacceptable The product is completely unusable, defective, misleading, or broke almost immediately. Not worth anyone’s time or money. ⭐⭐ 2 Stars – Major Issues It functions somewhat, but has serious flaws, poor quality, or doesn’t do what it promises. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re desperate. ⭐⭐⭐ 3 Stars – Just Okay It works, but it’s mediocre. Might be worth it for the price or a specific need, but it didn’t impress. Some noticeable issues. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 Stars – Solid Product Works well and meets expectations. A few minor flaws, but overall a good product. This set is beautiful and would be a lovely gift to someone, but there are some inconsistencies that I don't like as much. If I chose the set about John Twatchman, why are there so many pieces by Monet? I wish they had just chosen different artworks by Twatchman. The quality of the paper products is quite nice, the ruler is only in centimeters, and it is very thin and floppy. There is an inconsistency in the product photos on the listing about what the "sticker cards" and the "sticky notes" are. In one image, the loose, square pieces of paper are the sticky notes, and in the next, it says they are the sticker cards, and vice versa for the bound rectangular papers. As other people have mentioned, why are there so many repeated words on the cover of the notebook? We already know who the artist is; once in small print in a corner would suffice. However, the washi stickers, notebook, and washi tape are all very nice, and have lovely color and clarity. Overall, if you can overlook these inconsistencies, this is a lovely gift to a loved one or yourself, and it looks beautiful.

I love journals. Stickers. Washi tape. Sticky notes. Pretty much everything book and paper related. Since this set had all four items I listed, I figured this was the one for me! I chose the set which had the artwork The Cabbage Patch by American Impressionist John Twachtman on the cover of the box and journal. The greens, blues and yellows beckoned to me. I opened the box and saw a bit of a mess. Apparently the postal carrier was none too gentle with my delivery. However, after straightening up the disarray, I saw all the beautiful wonders the box contained! Of course, the hard-covered journal with the magnetic closure was the centerpiece of the collection. Everything about it was just gorgeous, from the cover to the pages with Impressionist artwork. Next was a pretty ruler which will be helpful for aligning your designs and ideas. The pad of sticky notes had to be the prettiest pad I’ve seen. The seven small rolls of Washi tape and sheets of Washi paper stickers were beautiful. The only thing I was perplexed about was referenced as “sticker cards”. They weren’t stickers, nor were they cards. As far as I can tell, they are simply squares of pretty paper which I imagine you would use with tape or glue. Nonetheless, everything was attractive and everyone from the long-time journal keepers to journal newbies are sure to enjoy and cherish this collection, which is priced well for all that is included.
