I got them for a group of 10 books. Three books sit on the bottom metal flanges on either end, so you can remove a book without the bookends falling over, even though they are super-lightweight. And the rubbery pads that you stick on the bottom seem to grip really well so that the bookends don't slide (though no way to tell how long they will stay sticky). And they look nice. Just not $17 nice. But I needed something right away, and I knew going in what the price was, so it's not like I was taken. ... show more
