I wear 8.5 in women’s. I sized up to a 9 based on reviews, but I didn’t realize most of the ‘size up’ reviews were written by dudes, so 9 was too big and I sent them back. I will reorder in a size 8, and I will get dark brown instead. I didn’t like the way the light brown looks. I ordered these because I wanted a durable waterproof leather-free sandal. This brand was popular when I lived in Portland, OR. The kids called them ‘poor man’s Birkenstock’s’ because they are comfortable and supposedly last for years. I hope the 8 fits!

These are great! I have narrow feet and most sandals are too roomy for me, but ordered my regular shoe size in these and they fit better than most sandals of this sort that I've tried. I mostly order a half-size larger when buying sneakers/trainers, but since these don't come in half sizes, doing that would have resulted in sandals a full size larger than my regular shoe size, and I knew that wouldn't work on narrow feet. Many people had complained of these being too tight, though they'd ordered a larger size, so I'd guessed that a regular size might work well for someone with skinny feet like me, and took a chance on these. I'm glad I did, because I like them very much! I think going smaller might have been an even better/snugger fit for me width-wise, but a full size smaller would have been too short for my foot. I think these will work out well for me. If you have narrow feet and your regular size in shoes is a half-size, it might be tricky to get a good fit. If your regular size in shoes is a full size, though, these might be worth a try in your regular shoe size. They may not be a snug fit, but they might work for you, too.

I ordered my normal size the first time, they fit but pretty tight where the straps are. So I returned and ordered the next full size up. They arrived today and they are barely any bigger at all. So if you are an 8 and somewhat wide, you'll need a 9 at minimum. Oddly enough, the whole footbed wasn't a lot bigger on the 9 either. And yes, I checked the size and they are marked 9. If you have narrow feet, these are ideal. They're pretty soft with the air pocket in the sole. I'm keeping the second pair, maybe they'll loosen up a bit with wear.

I wear a shoe size 7 1/2 so I ordered sz 8 after reading reviews to sz up and that they fit a little tight not good for wide feet. I don't have wide feet at all so I thought they would fit just right and might be a little snug. Actually they fit good for length but they were not tight at all, in fact they felt loose. But I've been wearing them and I don't walk out of them so all in all they are good. Actually I really like them and they are so cute. 5 stars because I love them,

I love these sandals. They are the only backless sandals that I can keep on my feet. My toes don't grip sandals and I walk out of any other sandals that don't have a back strap to hold them on. I bought some of these in Hawaii years ago and wore them forever - until a certain lab puppy took to them. I kept thinking about them and finally decided to look on Amazon. I usually wear a size 8 1/2 so, because of comments on the site, I ordered an 8 women's. They are a little too wide but I can still keep them on. I hope some day they will make a more narrow one. But I still love the comfort of these.
