Wow, these jeans are insanely comfortable!!! I'm 5'3", 135 pounds. For me, the Small Petite was a perfect fit and perfect length (long enough to not drag the floor but still looks good with boots). I think I'm considered long-waisted (?). Not totally sure, but the fit will vary with shape as well as height and weight of course. I do have to use the drawstring to make them tight enough after pulling them over my hips. I worry that that string will come out in the wash or something, though I'm tying it carefully beforehand. I would have preferred a slightly different way to cinch the waist, but it definitely works. Just these would be too loose for me without the drawstring. In any case, these are soft and very very comfortable. They also look nice enough to wear going out! But they are very lightweight, so these are only summer jeans unless you're going to layer them over some leggings or something. I just finished ordering another pair in a different color! :) UPDATE: My second pair arrived. They look great, but they're an inch shorter than my first pair! Returning because they don't look right on me at the shorter length. So be aware that sizing may not be consistent! But if you can get a pair that fits, these feel great! SECOND UPDATE: I tried again to order a second pair, but they were again too short and too tight. So I could only get one pair that fit, though I really like that pair. I wish the sizes were consistent as I would have bought more. I did order a pair of their boyfriend jeans, and those are a good fit but a more casual style.

I love these things. They look like jeans. They feel like comfy-pants. I barely wear real pants now. Why would I? These are better. Quality is good too, it took several years of almost constant wear to develop holes in the knees. Good value, looks great, feels great. Triple win!

Love the comfort and fit and really love the inner drawstring at the waist. I have several pair of these myself and have also purchased for my husband. I do wish that there was a tapered style inbetween the straight and the skinny. Skinny is way too narrow and the straight leg is a bit too big.

I have been wearing Pajama Jean brand for quite awhile. I started with their jeans. When they had the yoga casual to dress pants, I started wearing them. I was really sorry when they quit making them. I continued to wear the ones I had until they wore out. Then, I bought more of the jeans. Since my waist size makes my size a small and my hips put me above the small, I decided to buy one size medium and one size small. Well, when I tried them on, I couldn’t tell a difference in the size. I even had my husband look at me wearing each to see if he could see a difference. He couldn’t. So, I kept both and washed them. After I washed them and had them hemmed, it was pretty evident which was the small and which was the medium. I could wear both, but I had to struggle some to get the small over my hips. Once on, they were fine, but it was a struggle getting them on. Also, after washing, the medium was looser in the thigh area, which I liked (but don’t understand). So, I bought 2 more mediums. Mind, unless I get elastic wasted pants or get the pants altered, I’m normally not going to have pants that fit my waist, or even some above my hips. They’re going to be too big. So, I thought nothing of how the 2 new pairs fit my waist. Well, I guess I should have paid more attention. Even after washing, (and getting them hemmed, which I always have to do), one of the new pairs is so big on my waist (or some above my hips, which is actually where they go), I have trouble keeping them up even if I pull the extremely long string that is on this pair so tight the pants are bunching in the front. The other new pair stays on better, but it’s not quite the same as the first pair of mediums I bought. At least I only have the one pair with the extremely long string. There is obviously no consistency in the sizing. The material is different than the Pajama Jeans used to be, but I can’t say whether it’s thicker or thinner. I know they’re not as stretchy as they used to be. I could have done my yoga in the ones I used to own if I’d really wanted to. I tried it. They weren’t as comfortable as yoga pants, but they stretched enough. I wouldn’t want to try to do yoga in the new ones. They’re comfortable, probably more comfortable than normal jeans, but they’re not stretchy enough to do yoga. (I know we can’t make replies to reviews any more, which is too bad. I’d love it if someone could tell me of a brand that has the yoga casual to dress style pants that are comfortable.) Would I buy the Pajama Jeans again with what I now know? I can’t say I would. The only thing that might change my mind is having trouble finding comfortable pants that would actually fit my hips and waist in another brand. Comfort is still here, even if they’re not as stretchy as they used to be.

I ordered these SIXTY DOLLAR jeans for my daughter's birthday! I'm nearly 70 and on a fixed income, but she is disabled and if *I* don't buy her a gift on occasion, there is NO ONE else around to do so. She is a big girl and is always looking for something in her size. I finally got over there on her birthday on November 2 and she pulled the jeans on OVER her existing jeans AND top that she was wearing - they STILL fell off! I bought from PRIME precisely because it is so hard to judge size by size charts that are not always accurate. I wanted to easily exchange, if needed. But no matter WHAT I click, I end up back in the same window... "how can we help you, click on link below". I don't know how to get ahold of either this jean company customer service OR Amazon Prime customer service. But I didn't think to check the time difference between when I ordered (end of September) and when she got them (November 2). I've clicked through EVERY OPTION on the page - and all I do is go in circles!!! The jeans are fine quality, and I don't even need my money back - just exchange for a different size!!! But the stupid app won't LET me! It says the "window is closed." Well - can I even TALK to someone about this? Nope.... it seems not. I mean, if YOU won't buy your own jeans back or exchange them for another smaller pair - are they good enough for my daughter? It seems YOU don't want them... maybe they aren't high quality, like I thought. Just high priced? :( It would be nice if there was a way to contact SOMEONE from the company.... Instead, I have to write this stupid review. Review: Don't purchase as a gift, the "window" appears to be too short to complete a return and the size runs REALLY REALLY large. She normally wears a 2 - 3x bottom. I ordered a 3x, but was going to exchange for a 1x. PS - Also, think twice about renewing your Prime membership. If THIS transaction is any guide, it isn't worth the paper its printed on.

Wow, Pajama Jeans really stepped it up. I saw these in a WalMart in CA years ago & the blue color was awful & the stitching was a cheap bright orange color. The blue on these (bluestone) is the perfect 'blue jean' color - looks just like the photo - with no ugly bright orange stitching. The back pockets are in the right place on these jeans & they actually flatter my overweight self. The waist band doesn't cut into my fat stomach (no muffin top) & they are quite comfortable. I could see them 'blowing out' with all day wear but for the 30 mins I tried them on & sat in a chair - they held shape & were quite comfortable. They have a weird smell that only partially came out in the 1st wash. It will come out completely in the 2nd wash, I'm sure. Great boot cut - not too flared, not too straight, the waist isn't too low, & the 34 inch inseam is about an inch too long for me in flats. An easy hemming fix. (I'm 5'8). XL fit great on my plump size 16 frame. I didn't expect these too fit so well, as 95% of jeans I try on look awful at my weight. I'm really pleased with these. UPDATE: I wore these all day today & they stretched out A LOT. I still like these better than any other jeans I have at the moment, but they definitely don't look as good at the end of the day as when you first put them on!

1. I am not a fashionista AT ALL. I wear jeans and t-shirts for 95% of my days. However, I was very concerned that these would look cheap and crappy. I will admit the do look cheapER (think Rue21 jeans) but, not completely trashy. They really do like jeans as long as your shirt is long enough to cover the zipper. 2. I am size 10 I have a fairly flat stomach but a very shapely bubble butt and big thunder thighs so, because of other reviews I was worried the Medium would not fit me so I ordered a large, it fit fine but had a little bagginess on the legs. So, I ordered another pair in a medium, I liked how they fit better. I will say it takes a little work to get the top/non stretchy part over my butt but, once I finally do they fit nicely. I will now return the size large. 3. I am 5' 6" tall typically I have zero issue with regular length jeans but, these were a little bit too much of flood pants for me, so I am also now going with a size tall. 4. THESE ARE COMFY! I will admit I ordered these while on my period because all I want are my PJs and a couch but, I have to go to work lol so this was my solution. They are quite comfortable. 5. Their customer service is not good, well, if you e-mail them at least. I messaged them 2X by e-mail about 2 weeks ago, still have not heard anything. 6. FAIR WARNING-The ones I am reviewing now are for the regular length bootcut vintage wash size large jeans, after getting these I liked the comfort so I ordered a few more pair to experiment, the fleece lined ones are AWFUL. No stretch at all. PS: You have far more options for the same price on their website.
