When I hear or read the word "tapestry" I think of thick woven (thicker than a sheet, thinner than a good made quilt), material of some substance. This "tapestry" is more of a painted sheet. Tablecloth, most definitely, ceiling decor, top sheet, light curtain... Most assuredly a beauty to behold. I LOVE the colors and the pattern is soothing. I use mine as a cover for the day bed, to use as a couch, in my bedroom. It goes with what ever quilt or comforter I put on the bed. It has a tapestry pattern but the material is not. I do absolutely LOVE my cover. The pattern creates a ZEN feel to the room. Trying to give certain energies to profit a room instead of draining or over stimulating it. The colors are true to the pic but the print is a lot bolder, not as soft or as artistic, but it suits me just fine. I would recommend to anyone.

I absolutely love this tapestry! It's beautifully dyed and large enough to make a lovely decoration in any home. Since it is so large (and thus heavy) though, it took me a while to figure out how to hang it without it falling down. Command strips didn't work, so I initially used thumbtacks (which worked well). I have since had it sewn around a wooden rod which is now properly hung/attached to the wall. Despite all the trouble I went through to get it to hang properly, it was worth it. It is quite the talking piece when guests come over, and I find it extremely pleasing to look at.

there are hints of purple and green throughout the details but the overall product is blue. very very dissapointed in that. however, the pattern and design is absolutely breathtaking. it's big and beautiful. I am using it as a tapestry in my college dorm. giving it three stars because although the color was completely different, i am not returning it due to the magnificence of it regardless. would have given it 5 stars if the colors were correct. The colors also differ in lighting. The first two pictures are of it in natural light in my sunroom, the third picture is it hanging in my dorm.

Love it! Thank you, this tapestry helps me get in touch with my crown chakra. Violet is the ray of spiritual mastery. It is a blend of red (matter) and blue (spirit) and is associated with transformation. Located above the head, this chakra links individual and universal. I love this tapestry. I love the colors, I love the pattern, I love that it's gigantic. We hung it at our campsite at a music festival, but there are many other uses. You could use it as a tablecloth (as listed), you could sew it onto other fabric and make it a bedspread, you could camp under it, you could use it as a picnic blanket, you could swaddle your children in it and take artistic hippie pictures....the possibilities are endless.

I bought this to use at the beach. It is so pretty and so much nicer than the old sheet I used to use. I have received many complements on it. It really is versatile and could be used for so many different things. I highly recommend and may even purchase another as a Christmas gift this year.

This is nice looking, but this tapestry smells. Seriously, it reeks. It smells like it was used as a tarp to cover a fishing barge for six months. I hung it on my wall and then promptly took it down as it made my whole apartment smell like an old abandoned sushi restaurant. I don't have a patio or balcony to air it out so I'm going to have to figure out how to get rid of that awful smell before I can display this thing in my home
