Worked well enoughbut got very hot quickly at the sprayer and the air handler unit on my side. Had to ware gloves to be able to keep spraying. But it never quit due to the heat.

The paint zoom I bought several years ago worked awesome. Unfortunately I sold it when I moved. I have bought another one a few weeks ago. Not the same machine at all !! This new paint zoom is terrible. It came with a European plugin, so I had to cut it off and put a North American plugin on it. When I went to use it finally, I thinned the paint even more than what was suggested, and it did not spray well at all. I am so disappointed . Why did they change up a once great paint sprayer to what is now crap? ... show more

This sprayer worked for me very well. It is certainly not a professional paint sprayer but for around the house usage and small jobs, it works extremely well. If this is your purpose, then I would recommend this product.

Pros: Cheap, cleans easily, and buying extra containers is an affordable must. Gets great coverage out of a gallon of paint once the spray rate is properly adjusted. Cons: Overheats quickly. Can only use it for 20 minutes before it is literally too hot to handle. It needs to cool off before using it any more after that. Overspray is an issue (have splatter remover on hand before starting). Start with the lowest spray rate and adjust from there. Must make sure to do the viscosity pour test and thin latex paint to about 65 seconds otherwise it will quickly build up on the spray tip. I bought this to paint my wife's office. We converted our smallest bedroom into an office for her and I thought this would be perfect for painting it. The affordability of the extra containers was a big selling point. It did get the job done but not nearly as quickly as I had hoped for. I had to shut it off after 20 minutes because it got so hot I couldn't hold or touch it. This was a huge drawback. It gets so hot that I had to take breaks because it heated up the work space. Honestly I wouldn't recommend buying this. I wish I had gone with something else. This is the only project I use this sprayer on. Spend a few extra bucks and get a sprayer that doesn't overheat to the point of becoming a space heater. ... show more

Let me start off by staying that I did not order this product. My boyfriend and I are currently in the process of selling my house and buying a house together. There is a bathroom in my house that desperately needs to be painted and my boyfriend didn't want to spend countless hours painting since we'll be doing that in the new house. I was firmly against buying a paint sprayer because reviews online were terrible. Some said it didn't cover enough, some said it covered too much; some said it clogged, while others said it left globs on the walls. To me, spending $60 on a sprayer didn't make sense...that's practically two gallons of paint! However, my boyfriend was adamant that it would make our lives easier and he decided to make the purchase. Once he got the paint consistency down (add a little bit of water to get it to go on smooth) it was easy. I came home from work and in a few hours the bathroom was done and I was back to packing. I'm sad that it's not available at the moment because I would have certainly logged back on to Amazon and purchased another so we could paint our new house in record time! My only complaint is that it's quite loud and there is a lot of "mist" in the air after you're done. Also, the unit does get hot and my hand got tired after painting for awhile--but it would've hurt much worse had I been using a roller for who knows how long! I definitely recommend this to anyone that has a lot of painting to do! ... show more
