My pet chewed my fiber optic cable and it was a puzzle to figure out 1.) what this cable was 2.) if it was something I could replace on my own and 3.) where I could buy such a thing. After being wrongly advised by multiple fios employees (they said the cable is integrated into the ONT box and only a technician has the tools to replace the fiber optic cable), I found out that all I needed to find was a SC to SC APC fiber optic cable. Once I received the cable that I ordered, all I had to do was unplug the old one and plug this one in, and the internet worked right away. So glad to have this cable! I needed to move my AT&T fiber line to my new network rack. AT&T wanted 150 dollars to perform the service, bought this cable and did it myself for 20 dollars instead!

The dog managed to tare apart the AT&T installed cable leading between the box outside my house and the outlet inside my house. I spent about an hour getting through the maze of robot operators to finally get a live person then got put on hold when I requested a technician to come fix it. I took the time to figure out what kind of cable it was and saw "SC" on both ends. A quick search on Amazon and I found this. I decided to give it a chance and hung up. It arrived 3 days later, I installed it myself and it works perfectly. I probably saved myself at least 50 bucks versus waiting for a technician to come. ... show more

I purchased this to move my ATT gateway further away from the fiber jack location in my house as the one ATT left was not long enough. Worked off the bat, all was well for a month or so, then blam, totally dead. Internet down, gateway offline, diagnostics said fiber issue. I had saved the original ATT fiber line in my tech drawer, after a scheduling an appointment with ATT to have them come out my kids were losing it without the net so on a whim I dug out the ATT cable and moved the thing back by the window. Plugged the ATT OEM line in and instantly brought everything back up. I swapped back and forth between the ATT fiber and this fiber, ATT worked, this one failed. So something wrong with the cable. I don't know how long it will last. But it was cheap and it saved me a $99 call out for AT&T to come and give me an original. I am so excited to have it sooner than they can come out at 1/10 of the cost. This does work for their white modem that I was told there is no substitution for. Hopefully it last longer than 5 months like the original cable. ... show more

Admittedly, I purchase these fiber patch cables and associated couplers with some trepidation, not expecting them to perform as advertised.. However, I so wrong... I had to relocated my Telco's ONT from its original installation to some 6 -8 fee away in a rack and not once have I seen anything other perfect performance. I have 600 Mb download circuit and that is what I am getting and sometimes ever more. See the pics for yourself! ... show more

We ordered these for a project. They sat on the shelf for three weeks before we used them only to find numerous optical issues. Could not find a number for support. A VFL (visual fault indicator) indicated the fiber was stressed in numerous locations within the pigtails. Could not find any specifications to determine which company manufactured the glass or if it was G.652 or G.657, A1 or A2. The glass is inferior or these were severely mishandled during production.The pigtails lit up like Christmas lights when the VFL was applied. Too late to return but I will never order from these folks again. ... show more
