Used for melting butter for popcorn. It has a nice pour spout and I don't burn my hand taking it out of the microwave as I did with the dish I used previously. I do need to watch it closely in the microwave so it doest boil over the edge. This is a great addition to the silicone popcorn popper.

    • Durable, worth the price. Used for mixing concrete

This silicone cup is super durable! I use it to mix 2-3 cups of concrete at a time for making concrete planters for my plant hobby. I use a wood stick to mix, and after over 20+ mixes, the silicone is holding up very well with no signs of damage or tearing. Previously I would use plastic buckets with and without liners, and they would fail after 3-4 uses. I'm able to "massage" out any dried concrete between batches, leaving the interior clean (if dusty). The hexagon texture on the outside makes it easy to grip when wet, though it also has the caveat of making it rather difficult to clean, which for me is not an issue as I'm working with concrete and it stays stored in a dusty bin anyways. I am picking up a second one to use for epoxy pours as well. It's expensive but due to the extreme durability, it's already paid for itself by not having to keep buying consumables that I have to throw away after a few days/weeks of use. ... show more
