Well, with jewelry and other pretty products, review is usually best after a "time will tell" period of a couple months or more. However, I am SO pleased "so far" with this ring (not quite a month), I had to comment. In a word, beautiful. It's a tad big but I chalk that up to my fault, as I wasn't sure which hand/finger I wanted to wear it on--which of course, makes a difference. It's on my middle (largest) finger, so those I don't care much for, still get a great view. :-) The wave is lovely and does indeed, personify my beloved Pacific Ocean. Was genuinely pleased with the ring when I first got it. It is comfortable, pretty, and eye-catching. However, when I first opened the packaging I noticed a little crack of dull "opal". I paid no mind to it. Later, after wearing my ring for a week on my non-dominant hand, the "opal" portion of the ring has started to fragment and chip in multiple places. I only wear this ring to work where I sit at a computer all day and promptly take it off once I get home. Sadly, I will be wearing the ring less often as hoped in order to make it last. ... show more
