I like the modern, simple design of this napkin holder and it looks good with any black accents in your kitchen. A lot of holders do not have a solid bottom so the napkins do not stand straight up unless filled but this one does so even when you are down to a few napkins, they won't fall out of the holder. This was the best of brass stand up napkin holders I could find. The only drawback is it looks like brass painted/swirled with a darker color on top to make it look antiqued. It looks ok unless you get really close.
