Fostering a feral young momma cat and her three newborn kittens and was worried momma wasn’t producing enough milk. I tried the little baby bottles but the babes were having difficulty latching on. A cat rescue site suggested pipettes to “dribble” KMR into their mouths until they could figure out suckling. These were a great value, provided just enough suction and allowed me to slowly release milk to the kitten. I didn’t noticed a plastic smell when I opened them. And the packaging lead me to believe they are sterile-no need to pre-wash (but don’t quote me in that). And although they are disposable, I do wash and rinse them out with some soapy water. Just a word of caution: if you are using these to feed baby animals-ALWAYS make sure the little critter is sitting up (held upward) as you do not want them to aspirate on the liquid! I also use these for the little boys o nanny for. No, I don’t feed them with the pipettes! But they love to use them with our art and science projects. Perfect for suctioning up a little vinegar for baking soda reaction activities. The pipettes do not hold much but work wonderfully for what I needed them for. And although the suction is not very strong and liquid WILL trickle out, they serve the purpose effortlessly for feeding kittens. ... show more

The ad says 3ml, even though the picture appears larger than a 3ml pipette, I went with the written description. These are 30ml pipettes so basically useless to me as I was seeking 3ml pipettes.

If you have a need to pick up then put down tint amounts of liquid, these little guys are for you! They're great for putting the oil stuff in the diffuser. Now I can put a measured amount instead of guess and either getting no scent or the house reeking of eucalyptus or some such herbal remedy. You get so many of them you can freely try them out for all sorts of odd jobs. So, yeah, these are my favorite little squeezey tubes right now. ... show more

I wanted to use these to drip paint on projects. They don't work very well for that. They suck up some paint but it I have to keep loading to get the pipette completely full before I can get the drops I want. Not happy. Won't be reordering.

The readings are incorrect, my pipettes read 30 mL. Some are cut from the factory improperly so there's left over plastic and lastly some the numbers are completely gone due to poor manufacturing. Good for arts and crafts where precision is not necessary.
