These goggles are going to Antarctica in February. I got them because of the good reviews, they fit over my glasses including my wayfarer sunglasses, the variety of colors and lens tints. I chose the 24% Vlt for Antarctica. Since the goggles fit over either regular or sunglasses I can adjust depending on conditions. I live in NE Minnesota. ~40° this morning. My nose and parts of my face have taken a beating during winters past, so time to replace goggles with this affordable set. Goggles are imperative during deep cold, as any attempt to cover my face and my glasses fog up. I’ve been out perhaps half a dozen times with the goggles in various cold temperature and clothing scenarios. Yesterday, snow shoeing at -8° with -22° they worked fine, but when I went out for long afternoon dog walk, either right goggle lens or glasses lens would fog a bit. Left side, nothing. This has happened multiple times. When the goggles work, they work well. Yet, when a bit of fogging occurs while walking, depth perception due to fog and the goggle framework is impaired. Perhaps a bit more tweaking is necessary, as it always appears to be the fight side that fogs. Yet, the goggles do provide utility for a glasses wearer. They do provide protection and considerably more facial coverage than sun glasses over glasses. While cross country skiing, they provide protection from the suns glare; when snowing, or using the snow blower, the goggles don’t get wet and drippy like glasses alone. Necessity becomes the mother of invention, and though not perfect for all my needs, this affordable set of goggles are fulfilling a niche of necessity. ... show more
