    • Great shoes, bad poles
I tried these for the first time ever today with my husband and overall they are awesome. The only drawback is that the poles are not awesome. They do not hold their position at all...but they aren’t really that necessary, so these still were worth it.

My friend and I both used these for a weekend hiking trip in the UP of Michigan. They were the first pair of snowshoes either of us have tried/owned. The first day they worked great! On the second day my friends were once again no problem. Mine, on your other hand, had an issue. The snowshoes were wonderful, but one of the poles kept losing the little black collar piece that is screwed on to help the pole from going through the snow. The third time it came off it was lost in the snow. Now the pole is useless. Any way of just purchasing a replacement part? ... show more

    • Broke within 5 minutes of use!!!!
I took a vacation day from work to go snowshoeing. I drove an hour from home to the trail where I was going to snowshoe. The snowshoe broke within 5 minutes of use!! The poles were not sturdy as well and did not stay in place once it was adjusted. Not happy at all and a waste of a vacation day!
