  • Awesome!
Bought these for my mother-in-law years ago to share with my wife, sister, and niece. They have since played it recently and they loved it!!! They really thought it to be a great prompt for opening up/ learning more about each other. And raved about it ever since. They have even suggested that my dad and I use it. Lol...Really grateful that thy found this card game to be helpful for getting closer as a family. And what was first perceived as not needed/desired to being a helpful tool for family expression😍😍😍 ... show more

  • Great conversation starter...kids begging for more
I have three children who don't always talk a lot at the dinner table about their days. They are twins (age 8) and a boy (age 12/almost 13). I bought this because it was recommended on a parenting site I am a member of to begin conversations and really get to know each other on a different level. I have also used chat packs in the past with my students and own children. I absolutely love the questions. We take turns as a family choosing a card and it fits in a tiny container we keep in our dining room. The person reads the card and we take turns listening to each other's response and asking questions or responding to what each family member says. The first night they all wanted to draw another card and keep going. The questions weren't surface but deep and meaningful and interesting to children that are older. They have one that is geared more towards children that you could use in class or at home too. We all learned about each other and some of our answers surprised one another or made us smile or laugh together. This has now become a ritual every evening and has allowed us to know each other on a deeper level and practice listening and responding to meaningful conversation. ... show more

  • Great conversation starters!
I bought this deck a few years ago, but it got tucked away in a drawer, never opened. I came upon it recently, in preparation for a garage sale. My now 11-year-old groaned when he saw me pull it out, and was decidedly NOT interested in participating. But after I’d asked a couple of questions, he grabbed the deck and wanted to ask, too. He offered independently “I thought this was going to be dumb, but it’s actually kind of fun!” Well, after a handful of questions, and more conversation than I’ve had with him in a week, he suddenly stopped and said “Hey! I see what’s happening, here! You tricked me into having a conversation with you!” Hahahaha!!! Even after this realization, he grabbed a handful of cards, so we could ask each other questions on the way to drop him off at play practice. Anything getting this tween engaged and connected is worth its weight in gold, in my opinion. Five stars!! ... show more

  • KIads Vs Family
I thought I ordered the Kids version but I got the Family. This one is for ages 12 and up but you can change the questions so it worked out fine, The questions are thought provoking and fun.

  • A great way to spend valuable time with your family! This is a must have!
I totally recommend this card game. Definitely is going to make me order the rest of the batch. One card asked us to rate our day from 1-10. I had asked my daughter to rate her day. At the moment I was thinking she would say 1 because she has so much school work to do, she was feeling so overwhelmed. I mean I would not blame her considering today she did her work from 9am today to 7pm at night... well, she rated it at 10! She said even thought she was overwhelmed she got so much work done. I absolute do not regret this game and it’s a great conversation started. It lets us know what goes on in each other’s minds. A deep understanding of what a simple question can actually mean to someone. I love this. We did it at the dinner table and let a few more after dinner. Love this❤️❤️❤️ I do not regret! ... show more

  • “Family” set should list the age of children on it or its a waste of money.
This product did not meet my expectations at all. I was very disappointed with it. I bought it to play with my adult children, none of whom live with me. It is only for young children in your own household., and the questions on the cards reflect that. This is fine except there is no age on the “family” card set listed. In other words it does not say what ages the children should be. Also, there are no instructions on how to play this game. Very disappointed. ... show more

  • Excellent conversation starter!
We love Our Moments! I bought this to play on our family vacation last summer but we're still playing! There are no rules. There's no pressure to answer anything, so we skip questions if we want to. It's really opened up dialogue with our grandkids. I've sent this to friends and they love it too. It's such a great way to get kids off of their electronic devices too. I just love hearing the things they have to say. When asked where she'd choose to go on vacation if she could pick anywhere - and why - my 10 year old granddaughter responded, "Georgia. I'd like to see their historical areas and beaches, but I'd also like to see how they grow their peaches." How can you not love the sweet innocence of that?! (And, oh yes. We will definitely take her to Georgia!) ... show more

  • Great for the whole Family! We keep it in the car!
This "game" is great--really more of a "conversation starter" than a game, but you get the idea. We had a lot of success playing it in the car, on a long ride to and from PA (2-3hours each way). Our 11 year old loved it, and we (dad and bonus mom) enjoyed it as well, and brought up some nice memories. The "FAMILIES" version is very kid friendly, but can be answered by almost everyone. In deed, we have a 3 year old, and we could ask him the questions too, and while most of his answers were "make believe" or nonsensical, he was very excited, and kept asking "Are you asking me, momma, or are you asking dad/sister?" And as long as you are attentive, and have some imagination, you can incorporate even the littlest family members. ... show more
