This Princess Peach costume has a lot going for it. It looks exactly like the outfit worn by Princess Peach in the Mario movie and video game, making it perfect for any child who's a fan--like my granddaughter, who is modeling it here. The dress has a full, attached cotton slip, which is much more comfortable than having stiff, crinkly material next to the skin. The skirt has multiple layers, making it fun to flounce around in. The crown is securely attached to a headband, and the removable brooch is decorative on both sides and equipped with a safety clasp. The gloves (at least for the 8-9 Years size) fit perfectly. On the flip side, there were many loose threads, particularly on the cotton slip. The section of the crown holding the jewel was not centered, even when adjusted with the velcro at the back. And the peplum on the front of the skirt did not fall out properly, making it look more like two pouches. It might fare better after being washed. Note that it can be hand washed (or, I assume, machine washed on gentle cycle) and line dried. Given the reasonable price and the benefit of the cotton slip, I can recommend this costume despite the minor defects. ... show more

My daughter is 6 years old and I got this costume in size 7-8 so it should fit her in about 6 months once Halloween rolls around. It fits her perfectly and she typically wears size 7 so it seems like this runs a little small. If your child is on the higher end of a size range, size up. As for the quality of this costume, it’s standard for the kind of Halloween costumes sold in bags at physical stores. It’s made of cheap polyester satin-like material with lots of excess threads hanging down from the bottom underneath the tulle. The front faux bustle is bunched up more than it should be and cannot lie flat. However, the colors are vibrant and anyone can clearly tell that this is a Princess Peach costume. My daughter just saw the Mario movie so she’s obsessed with the Peach character and she loves this costume. It doesn’t matter to her that it doesn’t look pristine. For dressing up during playtime and trick-or-treating this is a pretty costume that doesn’t need to look perfect. I would only recommend a different costume if your child is cosplaying for a convention or festival and wants to have a higher quality outfit for photos. ... show more

being a 90s kid raising kids of my own, having just seen the new mario movie with them, my daughter FREAKED when this came in. Not amazing quality but its not an overly priced and officially liscense product and will get the wear and tear of use by kids. no need to spend crazy money on an exact replica when they will just abuse it. The costume is cute. For sure air dry the dress, and get your child’s actual size (I got a size bigger, 7/8, to be safe, but as you can see in the picture, the torso area is a little too long. This Princess Peach costume looks fantastic in person. The real standout features include the quality, materials and appearance of the dress itself. The colors and proportions all appear to be spot on (or indistinguishable enough from the real deal) and captures the essence of Princess Peach’s iconic outfit. The quality of the materials and the stitching are impeccable. The outer fabric material is shiny, is lightweight, and has a nice thickness—it feels like an actual dress. The double-layered pink lace fabric has a nice stiffness that helps to keep it straight. The white inner layer is made of a soft and breathable fabric. The elastic bands on the sleeves is nice, and they (along with the pleats) do a good job of keeping the sleeves puffy (like Peach’s). At the top, Peach’s stylistic collar is nicely stiff and it feels like there is a thin layer of padding as well. The zipper in the back glides smoothly. The “jewel” brooch that goes in the front is made entirely of plastic and attached with a rotatable brooch bar pin. This type of pin is nice because it minimizes the chance the pin might come undone or of a pin prick. The brooch is lightweight and bright; it complements the dress very well. The elbow-length gloves are white with a ribbed design. They are made of a soft, stretchy material. The size is very suitable for young children (with little fingers). The crown is okay quality especially for a children’s costume. It is made of shiny circular gold flakes that are sewn onto a piece of yellow spongy felt. The yellow felt is then wrapped around a hair band and attached to itself with a velcro strip. The yellow felt has a decent thickness to it, which aids the crown tips in standing upright. The jewel in the middle is made of plastics, and the quality is comparable to that of the brooch. The crown is then tied to a headband with yellow elastic string. The sides of the headband are covered with golden glitter (which does not come off when gently touched). HIGHLY RECOMMEND: I would highly recommend this Oskiner Princess Peach Costume. It looks amazing with all the right colors and design details. The quality of the dress is outstanding and is very well made. The gloves, brooch, and crown are great accessories that complete the ensemble. Overall, this is a lovely dress that is much better than the costumes we had when we were little. ... show more

My only negative with this Princess Peach costume is the sizing is a touch on the small size. I got my daughter the 7-8 size (she's 6) and hoped she could wear it to school however it was a little tight. She opted to wear it anyway because we did a test run and she could jump ect.
