If you are tying to protect a super high end purse this would be a good option. The fabric is a silky fabric that has enough thickness to protect from a pen or lipstick stain. The sides are very flimsy so it will not add any structure to your purse (if you are using it for a different purse than advertised). As far as being an organizer, the pockets are really too small to hold anything more than a key or credit card. Also if you are trying to use the outside pockets you risk scratching the purse putting things in and out of those pockets.
