I use it in panang curry and Chinese food. So delicious and has amazing smell. The only thing us it needs time in your broth or some hot water to soak it and make it soft but I love this product. Well packaged.

I have tried a few dried Lemongrass products and have come to the conclusion that none even come close to the fresh stuff. Luckily if my plants are not at a good stage for picking I can usually find it at a local store and It keeps for a few weeks. I use organic lemongrass daily in my herbal tea(urinary tract can't handle caffeine)...this brand was off-tasting and bitter.

    • Good substitute
This is a good substitute if fresh lemon grass is not available. I bought this to use with Tom Yum soup, but the lemon grass is too fine, and it gets stuck in your teeth. I solved this by putting some in a cheese cloth and then putting that in the soup. This allowed me to get the flavor of the lemongrass. For teas and other uses this would work better but for soup I would suggest not using this. ... show more
