I am so happy with this kettle. The temperature gauge on the top is one of the best features, I no longer have to touch the sides or get cold tea to guess on the temperature of my water. Since I don’t have extra outlets I needed a kettle that could be used on the stove top which was a little hard to find then I thought. Of course I had to have the goose neck as it is just an aesthetic part for me, which makes this a much harder to find piece. The design is interesting and looks kinda like a beehive in my opinion. It plays very well into my tea& honey themed kitchen. The stainless steel is easy to clean and easy to tell when it has a spill which I love. Overall Ive really enjoyed this kettle. I also found it to be packaged well enough to gift and will likely be gifting a few to my tea loving friends!

This is a nice little kettle, albeit totally dwarfed by the burners on my BlueStar range. That said, it heats up quickly and does a good job of “blooming“ the coffee grounds for my morning cup of coffee. I’ve only had it about a month, so I can’t speak to its durability. I really like the fact that it has a thermometer on top of the lid because it helps me to keep a close eye on the temperature. Ideally, you don’t want boiling water on your coffee grounds. I decided to replace my big, oversized coffee maker with a pour over coffee system, and I’m happy to say that this has worked out great. There are a couple of cons with this small kettle. One, is that it *is* very small. And with the way that it is made, you can expect the occasional boil over through the very thin spout. The other is that if you are a lover of coffee in a mug, this may not be quite enough volume for you. But if you like a cup of coffee – two at the most – I think this kettle will heat enough for you. Don’t plan on this being sufficient to heat enough water for a crowd.

Great, small kettle that’s perfect for using with my one cup Melitta pour over funnel. No drips, no splashing. And the thermometer is really nice to have. Great looking, high quality stainless steel should hold up well. Update: After several months of daily use, this kettle still looks brand new. I am very impressed with the quality of the stainless steel. There are varying grades of stainless and this one is top notch.

I like the design and the functionality of being able to do great pour-overs. Bad news is this is not rustproof. There are a few spots near the bottom seam where there is possible rust. FYI, nothing in tea kettles are really rustproof anymore. I like the fact that there is a thermometer so you can get the water as hot as you want. You cannot walk away and multitask - no whistle, etc. Also, DO NOT let the flame touch the bottom or it may permanently stain the pot. After each use, you must empty and dry the pot carefully. You can use a Mr. Clean magic eraser, but make sure it is completely wet to remote any staining on the bottom. That works well. My biggest complaint was when UPS delivered it to me in my hands without any external box packaging or padding, I was flabergasted. It arrived with a label-- with a dent in the box. Fortunately, the product was undamaged, but it could have been. No happy with the seller for not packaging it safely before shipping.

I got this teapot specifically for the built in thermometer. I make Yerba Mate which needs to be heated up to 150-160 degrees, so having the thermometer means I'll never make it too hot. I also have a large size french press (34 OZ) and this is the perfect size for that. It was also really nice. If you have a friend that's into tea, it would make a nice gift. It's nicer than previous tea kettles I've owned that just whistle when done, and it's sturdy enough and nice enough that you could give it as a gift.

I've used the Melitta pour over method for years. I got interested in the other things that go into a perfect cup such as a controlled pour and temperature along with the right beans and grind. I thought about an electric goose neck kettle, but I decided to go with a simpler, less expensive model. The OPUX is solid, attractive and efficient. The only improvement I could think of is to include a little pamphlet in the box to describe the pour over method for beginners. But that's an easy Google. Down the road I may be in the market for a larger kettle to be able to serve four or more. For now this does the trick and it's perfect for my needs

It looks beautiful on my gas stove. It also heats up water fast and the thermometer works for teas and pour-over that require lower-than-boiling temperatures. Pouring is super easy and controlled, I even use it to water my house plants. The only downside is that the spout would be near impossible to clean, so I would only recommend using water in this product and letting it air-dry.

The built-in thermometer is so handy. It heats water quickly, and looks nice enough to leave on the stove when not using it. I actually use it to heat water for both tea and pour over coffee. This is one of my favorite purchases.
