I've been on the search for a decent t-shirt that doesn't have any logos/print along the front or back. Most shirts I've bought at Target, Gap, etc. are cheap but they end up not lasting more than a few months due to colors fading or the material thinning out after a few washes. I think my search for the perfect t-shirt has finally ended with ONNO! I'll admit that I almost didn't give ONNO a chance because the price for 1 shirt was out of my normal price range. However, I've decided that QUALITY IS BETTER THAN CHEAP QUANTITY. In the end, I'll probably end up saving more money because these ONNO shirts feel so much more durable and will last longer. First impression on ONNO's Women's Hemp shirt: 1) The length is great. I don't have to worry about my shirt sliding up when I squat down or lift my arms over my head. It still covers my torso well. 2) The Hemp shirts are loosely fitted as compared to the Bamboo shirts (will write a separate review for Bamboo shirt purchase). The Hemp shirt isn't baggy feeling but it's also not fitted. It's the perfect in-between for me. I ordered a size small in the Hemp and felt it was true to size. 3) The Hemp shirt compared to the Bamboo shirt does have a different texture as expected. The Hemp shirt feels more texturized to me and less soft as compared to the Bamboo, but it's not a bad thing. It just feels that the material is more durable/tough. Lastly, if you're on the fence about ONNO I strongly suggest just buying it. Their customer service is some of the best service I've ever had with a company. They respond quickly and go out of their way to make sure you're happy with your order or help you return the item. I think the quality of the t-shirts and the great customer service make the price $$$ seem insignificant. ... show more

I have an espresso one of these in a size Medium from a few years ago which is one of my best, favorite short sleeved shirts. It has held up well. I ordered another espresso and an orange and an an olive. The orange color is great but the fabric was too see-through for me. The espresso/dark brown color is still great and not see-through/not too see-through. The fabric seems a little softer than the one from a few years ago. The olive color is somewhere in the middle, it’s a little see-through. I am still deciding if I’m going to keep the olive one. I’m posting photos comparing the three colors so you can see what I mean about the varying levels of see-through. The Mediums were too small for me. I ended up exchanging the brown and olive shirts for Larges, which fit well. Also: Onno has revamped the length of the Smalls and Mediums. They explained this when I did the exchange on the Olive and Espresso. The Larges still have the nice long length like the shirt I have from a few years ago, which I appreciate. I love not worrying that it’ll ride up when I raise my hands up. And it looks nice enough for wearing with a skirt sometimes. I love that these are hemp and organic cotton. I wish they were made somewhere with much better labor protections. The company says that the workers are treated well and pursued a third-party verification in the past for the factory in China they currently contract with where they make their hemp shirts. I asked if they knew whether the wages were livable and how they compared to other wages in the area but they said that was proprietary/private information of the company they contract with. I’m still looking for a source of hemp or organic cotton clothing that is union made! ... show more
