PLEASE READ ! Ok ya’ll….. I questioned purchasing this ONN 50” TV because the first thing I’d noticed, were the review stars. I decided to go ahead & read some reviews, & found that *most* of the low star ratings, are coming from people giving reviews, ultimately based on their delivery driver very obviously improperly handling their package upon delivery. I had absolutely no issues with my delivery, & my TV came in perfect condition. Sharp quality picture. Runs quick. No delays in the remote connection. I have ZERO complaints. (This is coming from someone who tends to find atleast ONE negative thing about a product.) I have a TCL as well as Samsung TV in my household also, & the ONN tv more-so compares to my TCL, however, I couldn’t even tell the difference whatsoever.. forreal. My TCL was purchased for $280 & is 43”. Zero difference in the TV. & got more for my money. Anyone that is writing a bad review about the ONN Tv, you’ve GOT to take that up with your delivery service. Whether it came through USPS, or directly through an Amazon delivery driver… but the damaged product that showed up to your house after delivery, due to the driver, has absolutely NOTHING to do with the quality of this TV, in order for others to be rating this 1-2 stars… like seriously …. I saw someone rate this one star because AMAZON didn’t refund her; her money back within a timely manner….. again….. NOTHING to do with the functionality and quality of the ACTUAL PRODUCT . C’mon guys . Be forreal . This is not a complaint section regarding your issues with AMAZON & their delivery drivers…… I can only IMAGINE the amount of people that passed on this amazing steal of a deal, just bc of these RIDICULOUS reviews that have nothing to do with the TV.

The TV died 4-30-2024. Not common for a TV to fail so quickly. No picture.

After reading the bulk of the reviews here, I guess I'm the only one who got a TV that wasn't defective or broken. I bought this TV at the black Friday sale at Walmart from 2019 and it was $150. For a 50 inch Roku smart TV that has 4K that's unbeatable. We have an older Samsung 55 inch smart TV in our living room that does not have 4K and while the screen has good colors, it can't compare to the colors on this ONN TV. Not only that, but the smart functions on this TV are light years ahead as far as speed and ease of use than the laggy and difficult Samsung "smart hub" which is an ironic and false title. The volume is another thing I was blown away by because my TV on 10-15 is much louder than the Samsung TV at two or three times that level. This TV has gotten quite a few firmware updates and it runs mostly smooth though at times it does kinda stutter but it's rare and not enough to really complain given how cheap this TV was when I bought it. I put this TV in my bedroom and bought the swivel mount of the same brand at the sale and it works great too and anchored it to my wall on top of a entertainment stand. Another nice touch is the themed wallpaper that ONN/Roku has added after the last update which pairs whichever theme you pick with related sounds and the one I'm using is animated and moves. This TV replaced an older 32 inch Vizio which was smart but also not 4K and it was also not as smart. Night and day kinda difference and this TV has really impressed me and been everything I needed and then some. If you ordered these TVs online through Amazon or Walmart, that's probably why most reviews have had the broken screens. Rule number one of buying TVs is never buy online because people are careless when handling fragile merchandise. You should always buy in store so you don't risk it being mishandled. I'd say go to a local Walmart and check it out for yourself but this TV is something I'd recommend and it's easily worth it.

The TV came out of the box dirty and the packaging made me wonder if this was a used product. The plastic feels and looks cheap. The frame around the screen was holding on by a couple of clips and I had to press the frame into the body of the TV. There was a cluster of dead pixels and some random red pixels.

Very sharp images. Extremely nice TV for price! I have no complaints. For the people giving bad reviews bc their tvs came broken, give the bad reviews to the Postal Service. It has nothing to do with the quality of the onn TV. Buy it you will not be disappointed, especially if your on a budget.
