These bar and extensions worked just fine. My only critique is that the plastic plugs that go in the end or too large diameter for my handlebars wonder if that’s just my handlebars or if it’s endemic of all handlebars I have pretty thick aluminum ones.

I purchased a pair of the grips and they went on easier than I thought they would. My handlebars already had a plastic solid end so I didn’t need the plugs that came with them. One word of advice when trying to move the handlebar grips down, take some vinegar/water solution and lightly spray under the grips. You’ll have to carefully pry up the grips then just a light spray does the trick. The vinegar/water makes the grips slide easier and it will dry very quick because of the vinegar. ... show more

These were bought to extend the handles of a wheelchair. While they said they would fit the diameter of the handle, they were way too small to fit.

    • Good leverage for climbing
As a cross-country mountain biker I enjoy the climb, including long climbs. These bar ends offer me two additional arm positions - one at the top of the bar end with two fingers above the bend and two below. The other position is with all fingers below the bend. The bar ends improve my arm leverage and I'm happy with them. Bought them a month ago and have used them on 4 trail rides. I bought these for myself and my wife. Constantly holding the regular handle bars causes back pain and numbness in our hands. These allow us to sit upright for some periods without discomfort.
