With multiple shorter shelves, it's a bit of a puzzle to put together, and the unit tends to be somewhat unstable until fully assembled. This unit was the right size & look for my dining room, but I don't think I'd buy another product from this seller again. PROS: - Looks FANTASTIC - Perfect size for my needs & can bear a good amount of weight on each shelf - Able to be oriented in 3 different ways - Arrived a day earlier than expected (estimated delivery time was one week) CONS: - Even with a Prime account, I had to pay over $20 for shipping - No earlier delivery was available than the 1 week time frame - PARTS WERE INCORRECTLY MANUFACTURED. Two out of 4 of the top brackets had holes that were drilled incorrectly. There was absolutely no way for this to be assembled with them in that condition. Fortunately, I work for someone who had the proper tools to attempt a fix. But even after that was done, it was still difficult to get the parts together & I had to get outside help. As a result, I know I can never fully disassemble this because it will be unlikely that it can go back together. - INSTRUCTIONS ARE INCORRECT & UNCLEAR. It is not possible for this unit to be assembled in the way I selected & have it match the illustration. The parts cannot be oriented to reflect the drawing. It does go together, but it's confusing & I had to take a couple of brackets off near the end of assembly & swap them. There are also many steps missing in the text that would make this easier to put together. Fortunately, I'm able to visualize how things should fit together despite unclear directions, but this might be more difficult if your brain doesn't work that way. They also don't indicate that you'll have extra parts if you make this an L shape in either direction. And if you do select an L shape, you end up with holes on one of the end pieces, and they don't include anything to fill them/ make it look a little less awkward. - NO SELLER RESPONSE AFTER 9 DAYS & COUNTING. The moment I realized that parts were incorrectly drilled, I reached out to the seller. I still haven't heard anything back. Overall, this is very lovely & it filled a need. But it took me 3 days to get it together because of bad manufacturing & pure frustration. I had to walk away from it several times. I suppose I'm pleased with it, but I wouldn't spend this amount of money for this amount of frustration ever again. ... show more

Assembly is intuitive and just screwing pieces together. Took a couple hours but very manageable to do alone. Piece feels sturdy. Best packaging I have ever seen in this kind of furniture. I think I’m going to buy more! The open shelving really brightens up the room.

I’m very handy and good at putting things together. This was by far the most annoying thing I’ve had to put together. That being said, it looks great put together and I will be avoiding using one of the shelves for heavy items. I added a few pieces of wood to the top of mine because I wanted more shelving but couldn’t justify paying $80 more for the bigger shelf when I had these pieces of wood lying around ... show more
