Head piece was impossible to put on my 5 year old, made more like for newborns. Rest of costume is fine, just a little confusing with the battery piece, it has to stay on to keep air pumping and the unicorn blown-up.

This is funny with the blow up. It's nice to have your head/arms free unlike some of them. However the hat is sized for a doll and doesn't fit on a human head. It might be good for a trunk or treat in a parking lot, with a parent guiding the way. I don't think this would be practical for neighborhood trick or treating where you need to do alot of walking, going up porch steps, etc. ... show more

We actually got this for a teenager who is on the short side still-- and she managed to make it work, and was so pleased with it. It is really cute and easy to inflate. It might actually last more than one season as well, so there's hope for her younger sister to get to wear it one day when she finally lets it go. I think this is a cute costume overall and my daughter absolutely loves it. The colors are cute and she will use this year-round, lol. Or at least as long as she can. I ordered the 4-6yr size for my 6T kid and it's on the smaller side of the 6T spectrum. It does fit, but I'd recommend trying a size up for 6T kids. ... show more
