I wear a size 8, but Amazon recommended a 7. Originally I got a seven and it was way too small (length and width extremely tight). I returned and ordered an 8. I prefer the kohls drop off, but for this return I had to take it to a FedEx store. The size 8 fit great! I bought these for work where I’m standing for 12 hrs. The first few times I wore them, at about hour 6 my feet hurt. They were really tight around the top part of my feet like right below my toes (which maybe I just have funky feet?) but it was painful. They’ve stretched out and now fit perfect (like my most comfortable pair of shoes). They are supportive and I’ve noticed less back pain. They’re comfortable throughout the entire day. The fabric is stretchy and breathable I’m able to slip them on easily. They’re lightweight and the laces stay tied. They are expensive in my opinion, but seem very high quality and although I’m unsure of their durability I would guess it’s decent. I think the overall quality is worth the cost.

I read many reviews before purchasing the shoes. I have bad tendons and ligaments in my feet and ankles which makes it painful to walk and I roll my ankle often despite two reconstructive surgeries to repair as much damage as possible. I have only worn leather sneakers with anti roll bars for more than 15 years and still had difficulty walking. These sneakers have made a tremendous difference in my ability to walk as well as decreasing the pain in my feet. I am now able to walk in stores with less pain and have started taking short walks with my family. I do have to be careful not to lace them too tight. My feet and ankles feel stronger in these shoes. I haven’t had difficulty getting them on like other reviewers. I will be buying them again.

I have bought a lot of ON (cloud) shoes over the years. They were wonderful - fit great, washed up beautifully, and were long lasting. This new design that has a knit, rubberized, built in sock around the top of the shoe is awful. For people with high arches, like myself, if is incredibly difficult to get you foot in the shoe easily. I even took out the shoelaces to try and improve the situation. Nothing helped. Once you get your toes down in the front, the rubberized stretch band doesn’t allow your arch to lift up high enough to slide your heel in. There is a lot of tugging and swearing and I have decided these shoes aren’t worth the extra time it takes to to put them on. I am literally talking MINUTES of struggling. I hate to move away from the ON line of shoes and throw $200 in the trash, but that’s life sometimes. So be careful when you buy and watch that return window more closely than I did.

Was a bit disappointed. Been a Nike person for years but thought I try something new. Difficult to get my foot into with a thicker running sock, narrow opening. Very hard foot bed, was hoping it would soften up after a few runs but not yet. Looks and quality are nice but just not what I was hoping for.
