Listen - my review 4/5 is only because I felt the story kept jumping back a little bit. Did I still blast through it and enjoyed the morsel of a new book. Absolutely. But I had wished there was a different outcome to Karrack. Trying to be vague on purpose. I will say I enjoyed a more serious version of a certain character who shows humility very sparingly. The storyline is outstanding, the characters are well developed. The author writes in a way that teuly engage the reader. Please continue this series! I can't wait to read the next novel!

    • Another great read in the series....
For me, this is the best book in the series thus far! You can see how much the group has matured from their origins and also see that Jason has legitimate fears about his own future moving due to an unknown threat and his own abilities (or lack thereof). Been a huge fan of the series since Omega Rising and always look forward to each new release! Thank you as always Mr Dalzelle! ... show more

    • The boys are back
It has been awhile since I’ve read an Omega Force story. It’s good to see the adventure continue. This book had a good story even though it had some grammatical mistakes. The one disappointment was that for a large part of the book the rest of the crew were not involved. This story seemed to focus mainly on Jason while the rest just seemed to be bit players. After reading this book I couldn’t help but get the feeling that OF is coming to the end. This mainly had to do with the story revisiting the past and not really presenting anything new that would move the series forward. ... show more

    • Not what I expected…
Joshua Dalzelle is really a master of storytelling. I have enjoyed all of his series from Omega Force, Scout Fleet,and Black Fleet. I thought I knew where this story would go, but oh boy, I certainly did not! Joshua took me for another great ride where I had trouble putting the book down. It’s a good thing I finished so quickly because Joshua Dalzelle has to generations of fans in this house and my 17 year old son bugged me until I finished so he could read it as well.     • A darker, more difficult read. But good
This story explores areas not seen in previous works. Dark and defenseless, innocents horribly tortured and killed. Our Captain and crew on the others side as losers and victims. Again there is a mystery and secrets to unveil. This is a soul searching episode with examination of morality and quests for redemption or …justice. Another good read but this one actually makes me think and reflect…and consider my own life choices. Certainly worth reading ... show more
