Overall, I actually really love this desk. I am 6ft tall, and this desk gives my legs plenty of clearance. It feels quite solid and has no trouble holding all of the typical desk items in addition to my audio interface. I love the side pocket as well--it was bigger than I expected! This is easy to assemble if you do it right the first time... I didn't read the directions and as a result I put the legs on the wrong side of the desk. It does matter because of where the support bracing attaches. The only real downside in my opinion is that the desk top is susceptible to scratches and dings. This is not a 100% solid wood top, so it is softer than some more expensive options. But, overall I would recommend this to someone looking for an inexpensive but sturdy desk. ... show more

I purchased this desk to make a dedicated, docking station for my Steam Deck, since I have it setup to dual boot between Linus/SteamOS and Windows 11. Desk is great. Sturdy, quality metal frame and dense wooden top. It’s very easy and quick to assemble if patient in the process, and the headphone hook and storage bag are nice additions. I added a cable tray underneath to better manage my cables (included in pictures) and I’m entirely happy with how this project of mine came out. I’d recommend looking into one of those for this desk if a gaming setup is what you’re after. Would purchase again. I wouldn’t purchased any other 40” desk at this price range. This is perfect for the space I needed it for. Very Sturdy. Fairly easy to assemble as long as you pay attention to the letters on each piece, they may look the same, but they are not! My fault, though.

For the price of this, it was phenomenal. It took me about a half hour to put it all together, and that’s only because of the screws, etc. There were lots of screw inserts, and the most challenging part was putting together the tabletop portion to the bottom. The directions were not complicated. If you did not have the directions, you still would be able to put it together really quickly. I love it, and I love that it has the pockets. It looks sturdy, and I’m not worried about it falling to pieces. It just made my office room look fabulous. I would recommend you get this if you were looking for a desk. ... show more
