I got this in the hopes that it would work a little better with my stripology set than the 45mm- it does! It's comfortable to hold and the blade will be easy to switch out. I'll use this one when I'm doing a lot of cutting and keep the smaller one for trimming blocks next to my sewing machine.

I have finally used this rotary cutter. This is my new favorite tool. Our dining room table is cafe height. Using this rotary cutter, I was able to cut out multiple 3 inch blocks, 2.5 inch strips with minimal to no skipping. I have the Olfa with the gentle squeeze handle but I like this one better. I feel like I have better control cutting with this Olfa cutter. I can also put more downward pressure on the blade. I am using the original blade that came with this cutter. I may try different blades to see if I need to stick with the Olfa blades. Very happy with this purchase. ... show more

Very sharp cutter. Easy to cut straight and mildly curved lines. You will need a cutting mat to work on. Has a built in safety guard that easily retracts to make your cut. A cork backed metal rule is helpful for longer cuts
