First of all, Hello Everybody! Essentially, I had just gotten a new phone and started wondering how the heck the manufacturers were always getting the screens slicker than silk and essentially fingerprint-proof (oil repellant) for the first few weeks. Being someone who likes learning some new shtuff, I decided to go a quick Google search and ended up finding out that most new phones come with a light oleophobic application prior to getting boxed. So I ended up searching for it on Amazon and found the traditional, vial of gel/liquid version (that I'd only be able to use once or twice) that was pretty pricey... But then I noticed this version listed with zero reviews (so I was scared as hell to buy it lol) which costed less and could be used around 6 times! If you're still reading this: Congrats! My writing sucks - so thank you! Anyway, I ordered this oleophobic coating wipe kit and have tried it out by using it before bed so that the coating could dry out and sit overnight... And so far it's doing pretty well! I noticed that my screen is JUST starting to receive some very, very faint, temporary fingerprints after about 3-4 weeks from application - and I'm a techy nerdy person who works in the tech industry and so my phone is used pretty darn often - so the coating should last longer for others. So this stuff is definitely better than the stuff that comes pre-applied on new phones! And aside from that, it's also reusable so long as you have a plastic bag and some sort of straight edged clip to reseal the wet coating wipes in their packages for future use. I'll attach a picture of how I resealed both of my wet wipes (you just can't see the blue bag in my picture as it's directly underneath the white, coating bag). If each coating lasts as long for you as they did for me, then I'd buy two of these at once and it'd last the entire year! But if each coating lasts longer for you, then I'd probably just snag one. Either way, I'd try it out! I like this product a lot! And thanks to anyone who read my entire crummy review (that looks like it's a page that has been ripped out of the freakin' braille dictionary lol). Hope you all have a great day/night!

Like others have mentioned, this coating does not work. I cleaned my phone thoroughly, applied the coating in the evening in a low humidity environment, and buffed it clear in the morning. At the start of that day, the screen did feel different (similar to that of a new phone), but by the end of the first day, it had already lost its effectiveness. By day two the screen was attracting fingerprints just as it had before the treatment. Don’t waste your money.

I used this on my Galaxy S20 since the screen was starting to get more oily and not as easy to clean. It was easy to install. I put it on at night and let it stay on over night then buffed the screen atleast 12 hours later and it looks so much better and easier to clean! I dropped the phone months ago face down on concrete (liquid glass saved it) there are a few deep scratches and it appears the Oleopel coating filled them in as well as little scratches throughout the rest of the screen. This doesn't effect touch screen capabilities. There's enough product in the wipes to be able to use again a few times or multiple devices. Will definitely purchase again!

The package includes instructions, one cleaning cloth, and one oleophobic coating application cloth. Both cloths are pre-moistened with their respective liquid agents. First, you use the cleaning cloth to wipe down the screen and nearby surfaces. I also wiped my devices with a clean cloth moistened with distilled water before that. When all is spotless, you take out the application cloth and wipe in a circular motion. It’s very moist, so you can simply let it glide around. I did a few passes to ensure I had good coverage, then allowed the device to sit untouched overnight (8 to 10 hours). * The next morning, the display feels smoother and (indeed) very little finger print oil remains. No need to wipe the display after every use. * Obviously, the agent hardens to create a barrier. Therefore, for at least the first 15 minutes, ensure your device is in a room, etc without any noticeable air particles floating/blowing around because they will set in the hardened coating. The small disappointment… For my first application, this product doesn’t seem to be quite as durable as the device's factory coating. Mine lasted about two-and-a-half months, cleaning the screen with only a towel and distilled water. I was able to reuse the first package by adding a little distilled water to remoisten the cloths — too bad there isn’t an easy way to reseal them well — and was able to apply another coating. For my third application, I’ll (re-)apply the coating each night for five days or so as some others have stated. Perhaps it will build a slightly thicker, longer lasting coating. UPDATE: I indeed tried a third (and final) application. Bad news from the start. The coating application cloth was dry from the very moment of opening the (second purchased) sealed package — and this is only a few days after receiving it.. (The cleaning cloth was still moist. LOL) As with the second application (in which I attempted re-using the first package items), I tried remoistening the application cloth with several drops of distilled water. Unfortunately, the coating that did apply only lasted about a week. Ultimately, when it does work as intended, the results are good (albeit short lived compared to a factory coating). Add that to the second package arriving essentially unusable, the value (i.e., cost to performance) is very poor.
