I bought these gloves to dye my hair with, but then I also needed to knead some dough for pasta-making, and I figured I would try these gloves for that too because I hate getting goopy hands. They worked great! They don't have any kind of smell which had been my concern for food prep - I was a little afraid my food would smell like condoms LMAO - but that was not the case at all. Oh and they worked well for dying my hair, too, although actually a little better for food prep because they don't slide well against dry hair (I had to take them off to put the parts of my hair I was dying up, for example.
