I bought the OKD Farmhouse Buffet Cabinet in dark oak and I am very happy with my purchase. The color is beautiful and it matches well with my existing dining room furniture. The cabinet is spacious and has plenty of storage options for my wine bottles, glasses, and other items. It also serves as a great TV stand for my 55 inch TV. The assembly was not too difficult, but it did take some time and effort. I mostly did it by myself, but I had some help from a friend for some parts. I used a Black & Decker work table to make it easier to put the pieces together. I also used a low-powered screwdriver, even though the instructions said not to. I was careful not to over-tighten the screws and I think it saved me a lot of time. The only issue I had was that one of the shelves was broken when I was inserting a dowel. I contacted the seller and they were very responsive and helpful. They offered me a partial refund after I sent them the photos of the damage. I was able to fix the shelf by getting another piece of wood and staining it. The repair is not noticeable since the shelf is not visible from the front. The materials used are mostly particle board, but the cabinet is sturdy and durable. The top of the unit seems to be made of solid wood. The drawers and the sliding doors are not the best quality, but they work fine and are adequate for the price. I definitely appreciated the extra hardware that was included in case of any missing or damaged parts. I would have given this product four stars out of five, but I decided to give it five stars because of the excellent customer service. The representative was very friendly and willing to help me with my issue. They resolved it quickly and satisfactorily. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a farmhouse style buffet cabinet. It is sturdy, elegant, and functional. It adds a lot of charm and character to my dining room. Just be prepared and take your time when assembling it. It is worth it in the end. ... show more

My husband and I had been on the hunt for a buffet type cabinet for our dining room for the better part of a year. We kept hoping we would find one in a store near us. My sister, while searching for new furniture for her place, sent me the link for this cabinet. I was hesitant to order, worried it might get damaged in transit. However, the product was pretty well protected and was delivered several days ahead of the estimated delivery date. It was shipped in original packaging and was pretty heavy. It was a two person job to move it into our house. All the parts were very clearly labeled with number/letter stickers and I think this was the first furniture kit I'd gotten that had extra hardware bits included. As another person pointed out, there was not enough wood glue included for the wooden dowels, so make sure you have some extra on hand. My husband did the bulk of the building and it took about 3 hours from start to finish. If you have the space, definitely sort out and group the parts if you can. And make sure you have a decent screwdriver, Allen wrench and/or a driver with interchangeable bits on hand - the supplied tools were not adequate and quickly made their way to the trash. It was a little more time consuming to build than we had anticipated, but as long as we took our time with the diagrams, it wasn't difficult to put together. It is very sturdy and wasn't terrible to move once we got it assembled. I had hoped it would be a little wider - I was hoping for a place to store my stand mixer in it's box. That didn't work out, but it does store our liquor bottles nicely. Overall, we're very happy with how it turned out and plan on ordering the coordinating corner cabinet in the future. ... show more

Comes in a manageable container. Unbox all the pieces and ready to begin. Takes about 4 hours to assemble but pretty straightforward. Nice weight to the wood and the accents in black give a beautiful contrast. For the price you can’t beat it!

We needed a storage cabinet for a wall space in our kitchen area. This cabinet turned out perfect. It matches the area better than we thought. Great quality. It took us 3 hours to put together … easy instructions but lots of parts. It was well worth it.

This arrived and was heavy as heck to get in the house. Upon opening the box and unloading it, all of the parts were present. It arrived without any damage. This product is well made, and the assembly instructions are easy to follow. I have a few things to comment on: One, the included wood glue isn't even close to being enough. I would suggest getting a small bottle to complete this build. Two, while most of this is easy enough to assemble, it will take some time. The only negative I have is the installation of the drawer rollers, as the pre-marked spots are very small, and extremely hard to get the screws to line up right. If they aren't, the drawers won't move freely. That may be an issue on my side. I was very impressed with the added details to this product which secures the back paneling to the piece. All in all, I would buy again for another piece of furniture. Challenging, yes, but a little patience goes a long way. ... show more
