  • Printed beautifully, for a brief time.
Style: Printer
I guess it's not fair to blame the machine. After looking at about 200 different printers, comparing more, features & prices, I chose this one because it had the best price & used the same cartridges as my old one that died. Got it put together, installed, registered, & then realized it was *just* a printer. That's why it was so cheap! No scan/copy. My fault. Update 10/12: I loathe & despise this printer. It works when it wants to, which is rarely, like my daughter's boyfriends. It randomly decides it is "missing" a cartridge. Currently it is magenta that is invisible to it, so now it can't print an all black bank statement. It won't use *any* remanufactured inks, and isn't always fond of the outrageously overpriced hp inks, either. That, plus my failure to notice it didn't copy or scan, makes me kick myself for not boxing it up & shipping it back right away. By the time it started in with the ink problems it was past its return date. Now I have to pay someone to junk it? UPDATE 11/5/2018 I went back to hp ink, and it still won't accept the magenta cartridge. This POS has pissed me off for the last time. ... show more

  • Do not buy due to the paper carrier
Style: Printer
I have reached out to the manufacturer several times with no response No customer service whatsoever Warning the paper carrier is awful the paper is held in with no security causing paper to move up and down sloppy Design there’s no brackets to hold the paper in place it continues to take 2 to 3 pages very frustrating I have tried every way to get the paper carrier to take one page and it does not very poor design Now the printer I do give great reviews very good quality print the ink seems to last sufficiently Because I work from home I need good quality and time efficiency on my productivity and with this constantly being a problem it will not be an answer to my home needs Unfortunately with no replies from the manufacture I have no recourse but to buy a different printer ... show more

  • DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY
Style: Printer
JUNK. Wish I had read reviews before purchase. Purchased a Hewltt Packard new. It was a brand new (NOT factory refurbished) unit. It was dead right out of the box. Returned it to Amazon. Ordered an identical replacement HP 6320 the following day. When it arrived it would not feed. Spent an hour and a half on the phone with HP tech support only to have them tell me what I thought I already knew. I had a defective unit. Horrible quality. HP offered me a replacement unit but said delivery would be 5 to 6 WEEKS!! I turned it down. No longer want to deal with this company Bought a Brother instead and was up and running in less than 10 minutes. ... show more

  • simple and easy to set up with the right information in less than 30 min
Style: Printer
I got my printer today, took it out of the box, plugged it in and went to set it up. I am a single women with very low tech skills so I alway get nervous setting up anything technology related. I followed the instructions provided to turn it on, put in paper, select the paper direction. Not many of the instruction were on the paper provided. Next to set up the wifi/wireless printer it had me go to a webpage and I followed the instructions and I quickly started to get flustered because it continued to tell me it was not connecting I had done everything it told me to do. THEN MAGICALLY, my printer started printing a page about 15 minutes after it had been turned on and had been sitting there. I have no clue how it printed and if it is normal that this pages prints but I attached the page because following these instructions was how I got the printer to print. The instructions are for the phone to use your wife to connect to the printer so I did it on my Iphone 6 and tried to print a document and it totally printed. I repeated the steps on my mac the same way as with the phone going to my wifi, selecting the print putting in the passcode and then printed and again it worked. What I figured out is that in order to print wirelessly each time you want to print you have to go to your phone or computer wifi setting select the printer then go back to what you want to print and it will then see the printer as an option and will print for you. It did not see the printer as a printing option until I went to wifi and selected it. I am very happy I figured it out and this paper totally saved me. ... show more

  • Printer is a joke. Problems at only two weeks. Don't waste your money and don't be fooled by the 4 star rating like I was!
Style: Printer
This printer is a joke. The advertised 400 pages per cartridge is a huge joke. Granted, I'm a teacher TRYING to get ready for class on Tuesday but instead I'm spending hours on the computer and tech support trying to figure out what's wrong with this cheap printer. You get what you pay for. First of all, I printed about 30 pages over the past two weeks with the cartridges that came installed in the printer before I was out of yellow and low on magenta. I replaced the cartridges two days ago with HP cartridges (VERY EXPENSIVE) and then my printer would not print any color at all. I did research on the internet and contacted HP support. Only after I ran a level 3 cleaning was I able to print in color. Unfortunately, I used a lot of black ink trying to figure out why it wouldn't print color. Now my printer won't print anything and running diagnostics and level 3 cleaning reports which are printing in black and color ink just fine and are using up what little ink I have. But if I try to send a print job to the printer it only spits out a blank sheet of paper. I have to constantly set the print button on the printer which keeps cutting off for some reason. The printer is very loud as well. I don't have time for this. I need a printer that works and doesn't eat all the ink in a few pages. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRINTER. ... show more

DO NOT buy this printer: the first printer had a hardware problem with the print head. I spent almost 2 hours on the phone with HP support before they conceded it was not a user error or set up problem. They shipped me a replacement printer. This one had a paper feed/roller hardware problem and couldn't feed paper to the print head. Perhaps these printers have reached such a low price point that the quality of the hardware is just awful ... show more
