Description

Product description Aaron Carter ~ Oh Aaron Soon to bust out of middle school, Aaron Carter chirpily boasts "I'm all grown up now" and implores "Come and show me body." Despite that, this star among the Nickelodeon set is still more Fresh Prince than Prince; Oh Aaron will give skittish parents little to worry about. (This would-be mack still lives with his folks, after all.) Further looking to demonstrate his maturity, Carter's handlers also supply him with "The Kid in You," a brand-name-laden pledge that he'll never forget how to have fun, even while raising his own family 'n' stuff. That lesson is supplemented by the title track, which finds Aaron promising too many friends tickets to see brother Nick with the Backstreet Boys. All's well that ends well, though, with Aaron winding up as the opening act and Nick guesting here. Note: the bonus track is simply an ad for an Aaron Carter video/DVD collection. --Rickey Wright

  • Filling in the holes...
I already had this product once before because i got it when i was a kid. But i foolishly sold it at a yard sale. I had to re-purchase it which wasn't a big deal because i got i really cheap. It was a used product, but it works perfectly fine and is in good condition.

  • Favorite Album
This is my favorite Aaron Carter album because it has my favorite Aaron Carter song. Jason and I performed the single "Not Too Young, Not Too Old" in The 2010 QHS New Faces Variety Show.

  • 'Oh Aaron' is the best!
I've been a fan of Aaron Carter ever since he debuted with his self-titled 1997 album (so this is actually his third album and not his second!). Aaron has definitely matured and grown up since then. Of course, he hasn't grown up TOO much because he's still only 13. I haven't bought this Cd yet but I'm just dying to 'cause I've heard all the songs and want it so bad! Here's the list of songs on this cd: (1.) Oh Aaron (w/No Secrets and Nick Carter) - one of the best songs on this cd! It's the first single off it and Nick, his older brother (better yet known from Backstreet Boys) raps on this song, too. It's pretty cool to hear Nick rap, since I've never heard him rap before, and he's pretty good. The group No Secrets is okay, too. Great song! (10/10 stars) (2.) Not Too Young, Not Too Old (featuring Nick Carter) - the second song where Aaron sings a duet with Nick. I love it. This tells about Aaron not being young anymore and Nick telling him about what it's like to "grow up". The second single off this album. (10/10 stars) (3.) Stride (Jump On The Frizzy) - pretty good song. Upbeat and catchy. I like it a lot. (8/10 stars) (4.) Come Follow Me - I like this one a lot. Catchy tune and very upbeat. (6/10 stars) (5.) I Would - a nice ballad. Aaron Carter can really sing! (9/10 stars) (6.) Baby, It's You - another good ballad. Nice sweet lyrics. (7/10 stars) (7.) I'm All About You - good song, I like it. (8/10 stars) (8.) The Kid In You - another one of my favorite tracks. This song deserves 10 stars! (10/10 stars) (9.) Hey You - fun song. Excellent, but not one of my personal favorites. (5/10 stars) (10.) "Cowgirl (Lil' Mama) - the fourth song off this album which deserves 10 stars. I love this song - it's got a great, catchy beat and I love the lyrics and Aaron's voice. (10/10 stars) (11.) Bonus Track: Little Bitty Pretty One - this song is the one that can be found on 'The Princess Diaries' soundtrack. That's where I first heard it and it's very good. A remake of some older song but I forget which one. (9/10 stars) All in all, I loved this album. I think Aaron is very hot and he can really rap, sing, and dance. He didn't just get this record deal because of Nick (although I do admit that it did make it easier for him to get one), but Aaron has talent in his own right and needs to start being recongized as a real artist. If you love Aaron Carter, or just pop music in general, you must buy 'Oh Aaron' by Aaron Carter - his best album yet! ... show more

  • Fun! Fun! FUN!!
"Oh Aaron" is a fun teen pop album to listen to...like other older fans say, it always puts a smile on my face whenever I listen to it. I just don't understand people--they can be so cruel sometimes! Some people take Aaron's music way too seriously and so they end up thinking that it's horrible. But if you just sit back and relax you may find that it's not so bad! For a thirteen-year-old, Aaron Carter is quite talented. I guess music talent runs in the family! Aaron doesn't need to rap about drugs, sex, or swear all the time just to sell...and if you don't like this than you're missing out! Most of the music on this CD is teeny-rap, I guess if that's what you want to call it. In the title track, "Oh Aaron", Aaron raps about trying to get all of his friends tickets to a Backstreet Boys concert but when Nick won't give them to him, Nick tells Aaron that he can pay him back by being the BSB's "opening act". In "Not Too Young, Not Too Old", Aaron raps about how he's not too young for girls, but not too old to be a kid, and Nick, rapping alongside as the "big brother with all the advice", is telling him otherwise. "Stride (Jump On the Fizzy)" is another fun song with Aaron rapping and the girl group, No Secrets (who also help out with the "Oh Aaron" track), helping out. "Come Follow Me" is a song in which Aaron wants you to come with him to a concert. "I Would" is an okay song but it's one of the few that I usually skip. "Baby It's You" is another fun song with Aaron rapping about a girl that he likes. "I'm All About You" is the only ballad on this CD and he sings about how even though he's always traveling and such, he's got one girl on his mind. "The Kid In You" is a song where Aaron raps about making sure (even though you can't always be a kid), you can still try to be a kid at heart. "Hey You" is a song where Aaron raps about meeting a girl on the streets. And in "Cowgirl (Lil' Mama)", Aaron raps about finding a cute girl while he's doing a show in Texas and he calls her, his "cowgirl". Then there is a bonus track at the end but it's mainly just Aaron talking about some of the recent things that he's done like the music for the "Jimmy Neutron--Boy Genius" movie and gives a clip from one of the songs, called "AC's Alien Nation". And parents, don't get scared off--Aaron Carter is NO Eminem, though just as talented (as a rapper, I mean). I loved this album and thought it was great. I own his other two discs, "Aaron's Party (Come Get It)" and his debut, "Aaron Carter", and I think this is his best one so far. I can't wait to get his upcoming album, "Another Earthquake"...being released in early September! Go, Aaron! Final Grade: A+ ... show more
