The media could not be loaded. I use these lights to supplement my driving lights, not for fog. My vehicle is of a vintage with halogen headlights and no auxiliary fog lights or running lights. Adding these lights really helps in-city driving. The video begins with low beams and fogs. When the fogs are turned off, the roadside disappears. In an attempt to compensate, I switch to high beams. Then, when the fogs come back on, you can really tell how much these lights help to illuminate the foreground and roadside. I don’t have the expertise needed to install things like this, but it wasn’t hard to do an internet search and find a company that does. In addition to the cost of the lights, I paid $175 for professional installation. I selected these lights because they meet SAE J583 standards. Other LED lights are cheaper, but I need to count on the engineering behind the product. For lights like these, it’s critical to have a wide beam angle with a sharp horizontal cutoff. Otherwise, the lights can blind oncoming drivers and become a danger to everyone.

With all the newer vehicles on the road blinding out my old school weak headlights and in the process, making it so I can’t see… I opted to upgrade my truck bumper with these. These are mounted on top of my aftermarket steel bumper. They are pointed a little downward to not blind other drivers. Man oh man, they light up the road. I have driven through town and backcountry with these and not a soul has flashed their high beams at me. Passed the usual law enforcement patrol cars, who take pride in pulling over every wrongdoer, and not annoying them to warrant a stop. I can see, finally! The dark back road where deer like to pop out of nowhere can be seen sooner. I can’t be happier. So I got a set for my husband but he has a stock bumper on this truck. He will be needing to add something to level the beam. His first attempted install, he had the beams at an angle. He is very happy with them because his headlights were also not casting enough light. This option was much easier, faster and cheaper than going halogen aftermarket. Just a note: Both trucks have newer replacement headlight lenses and fully upgraded bulbs, and not cheap stuff- all that extra money we spent before these lights, ugh!!! those upgrades were still not good enough… wish we bought these first!

I bought these as extra visibility for my motorcycle. With everyone distracted by their phones and navigation screens it's wise to make a small vehicle like a motorcycle more visible to distracted drivers. I was looking for something that was SAE approved since I don't want any questions about their legality from the cops. The true wattage is 10.8 watts as measured by my Fluke multimeter. At 12.4 volts the current draw was 0.87 amps for one lamp. The good part is that these lights are easy on your charging system at 21.6 watts per pair. They aren't bright enough for a stand alone headlight system unless you are traveling very slow, like under 25mph. The beam is very wide with a sharp vertical cutoff pattern. This does a good job of lighting up the ditches close to you but not much power is projected down the road. I think these will work OK for my use case. The included wire harness is way too long for a motorcycle so I shortened it as necessary. It's tedious work but I have plenty of experience in this sort of cut and splice electrical work. I used both crimps and solder to make sure the connections would last. I also recommend shrink tubing, electrical loom tape and cable ties for this job. The battery terminals are rather large and you may find them inappropriate for your connections. Be ready to adapt the harness to your vehicle. There is no "one size fits all" when it comes to wire harnesses. This wire harness may be too short if you have a big vehicle. I connected the power that feeds the ON/OFF switch to an IGNITION ON circuit so that the lights can't be turned on without the ignition being on. You don't want to drain your battery if you forget to turn off your lights.

Light unit itself is great. Output is fantastic and the cutoff is perfect. HOWEVER, these did NOT come sealed from the factory. I had to pen them and add silicone adhesive around the edges because they were not even slightly water resistant. Considering the overall quality for the price, I'm OK with this. But just be aware.

These project a very nice flat beam to cut under fog to illuminate the shoulders and centerline without blinding oncoming traffic. Well constructed and packaged with good quality electrical wiring. Great value for the price. Photos show headlight pattern on 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands without and with these SAE Fog Lamps. These really light up the shoulders and make turning around corners at night much safer.

I ordered these lights and was very impressed! They looked to be well built only small things that I had to fix once they arrived. One being the screws holding lends on were loose and needed to be tightened once done. All seemed to be ok. Bench tested lights and made sure worked found great beam of light. Found well build woring harness with water tight connectors wish the connector that was between the switch and the relay was better but it's ok due to being inside the cab. I installed on my 95 Toyota 4runner which I would say easy install is lower just for my application hard to find good location to mount. I'm writing this review now that I have had on the vehicle a couple weeks now. And they operate greate again the only issue I have that needs to be taken care of but for some reason is a pain. Is that one of the lights has water behind the lens. Onlh had installed not even 1 week befor this. I have contacted seller and they say they will stand behind the problem but seem to want a photo of the issue which I have sent multiple times but they seem to be not seeing it in my messages!!!!!! So because of this issue I give this product a 1 star untill issue is resolved! I ran the risk of spending way more then I wanted to just to be happy with the quality and performance of the product! And so far not happy becuse the one light leaks water inside!
