My wife's home office chair armrests were failing, and her duct-tape repair was no longer effective. MingYi Office seems to be one of the few vendors that offer an armrest Pad that requires the 5.5" mounting holes at a very reasonable price. The armrests were easily installed. As others have mentioned previously, each armrest has an "L" or "R" on one end. Make sure you install the armrests with the markings as if you were sitting in the chair. The lettered side of each armrest should be oriented forward. To me, the armrests as they are seem comfortable. But each person is different. I also purchased a pair of "Aloudy Ergonomic Office Chair Armrest Pads" and installed them on the armrests, so that my wife can decide if she wants to keep them on or remove them. This armrest replacement saved my wife and I from having to purchase a new office chair. I would purchase armrests again from MingYi Office.

Fit my office chair very well, bolts holes lined up perfectly and the bolts provided were fine. I used my old bolts because they were a little shorter. The armrests are comfy, but I did find that they extend into the seating area a little further than my old ones and crowd me a little, but otherwise they're fine. Either way, they're better than the torn/crumbling ones I removed so...for $20, they work great !

Items arrived within 2 days. They were a perfect replacement. Arm rest pads were stamped L/R so that you can install them correctly. When replacing armrest, the stamped L/R should be in the forward position (where your fingers rest). Also L/R is in reference to 'sitting' position. The individual armrest is NOT symmetrical. Higher curve should be on outer edge and the wider armrest plane should be at forward position and tapered end toward elbow. Also included were 4 replacement bolts. Make sure you measure the distance of screw area from your original armrest as well as the inset area so you can determine if this set will fit. They feel comfortable and sturdy. Only time will tell if they durable.

I purchased these armrest pads to replace the ones that came with my office chair on which the rubber pads had become damaged, with some areas torn out. In comparison to those, these replacements seem more sturdy and better attached to the metal mounting brackets. Installation was simple, and the package came with fasteners (although I reused my old fasteners). The pads on these replacements are firmer and a bit more slick than the old ones, and have a contour along the top of the pad to support the user's forearms. All in all I am pleased with my purchase, and am hopeful they will prove durable.

This was easy breezy to install. I'm just glad I had an allen key set to take out my old taped up arm rests. This pair comes with screws, so all you need is a philips screwdriver. This is slightly shorter and firmer than my old arm rests, but I really like the curves that hold your arms in place. I don't find them uncomfortable in any way. I actually think these might last longer than my originals.

That is what it was to install these. Even the new screws are included. Fit perfectly, always a bonus. They are not symmetrical. One end is smaller than the other and one edge is a little thicker. It is intentional. It is a matter of which end and what outside support you find most comfortable, but testing all 4 took me and a Philips screwdriver about 15 minutes. I preferred the slightly smaller end forward, with the thicker outside edge. If you buy these that will make immediate sense. They are thick, with just enough cushion, very comfortable after about the last hour of "testing" them. Good price, good product.

I have a 20 year old office chair which is great except the arm pads went south. The video attached shows the old arm pads (on the seat) and the new ones installed. I am SUPER pleased with them. They fit, they feel great, and they are better than the originals! I’m very glad that the merchant bought ads on Google for this because these weren’t coming up anywhere in the Amazon search, but they showed up in Google and linked over to Amazon and they were exactly what I needed! Very happy, thank you!!

These replacement pads fit perfectly. However they are very uncomfortable. If you sat with our arms perfectly straight out they are great. These when on my chair for my home office which means I am on the computer often. As such bending my arms inwards to use the keyboard causes the curvature to cut into the under part of the arm. They would be much better if they were just smooth on top or slightly rounded downwards so that no matter how your arm rested on them they would be smooth. They do appear to be well made.
