This dress was exactly what I was looking for. I bought the blue and the purple. I wear size 16 and XXL was a perfect fit. I have a short midriff, and most "short" dresses hit me mid-knee. This dress hits about 3 inches above my knee. The fabric is soft and cool. I wore one to a graduation party with blue canvas sneakers and the other to a bank meeting with heeled sandals. Both ways fit the situation. I have had more than 2 dozen abdominal and hip surgeries; dresses are the most comfortable to wear. I even feel a little sexy in it...I'm 63.
