  • Beware...tons of plywood
Color: White
I bought the sparrow crib and was disappointed to find out a lot, if not the majority, of the crib was plywood. When I reached out to Oeuf customer service, I received three inconsistent answers. First, I was told only the base was made of plywood, then I was told that the top rails were also made of plywood and lastly (after I took a picture of what obviously looked like plywood in other peices), Oeuf confirmed the bottom rails were also plywood. I believe the short sides of the crib are also made of plywood. I certainly don’t want my baby gnawing on plywood when he starts to teethe and decides to teethe on the top rail. When I asked what parts of the crib are made of solid wood, the response I got was that the rods were made of solid wood. Only the rods are solid wood?? On top of all this, Oeuf customer service said “we don’t directly manufacture the plywood . . . so we don’t want to guarantee whether any particular ingredients are present or not in the glue.” What?!? How can you sell a crib as non toxic and don’t know what type of glue is used in the majority of the crib? Oeuf kept mentioning that it is greenguard gold certified, but I paid a premium for the crib because I thought it was mostly made of solid wood AND was greenguard gold certified. There are plenty of plywood cribs out in the market that are greenguard gold certified and sold at a fraction of the price. I’m livid that a company making infant products doesn’t know the materials used in their furniture and can’t even answer questions regarding the furniture accurately. How can a customer have confidence in the product? If Oeuf can’t even answer what parts of the crib are made of plywood correctly, what else isn’t accurate about the way they market the crib? I don’t feel safe putting my baby in the crib. ... show more

  • We love this crib
Color: White
We love this crib! Sturdy and beautiful. Looks great in our mid century nursery. I wish the metal screws didn't show but it's not a deal breaker- most people won't notice them.

  • High quality crib
Color: White
Exactly what I was looking for. High quality (you get what you pay for) and it looks amazing. It's a great size, not too bulky. I don't have any complaints.

  • New moms - do not buy this crib.
Color: White
This crib is very dangerous. There is no breathable mesh bumper that fits the solid ends. The solid end mesh bumper only works on the sides, it's not meant for the actual ends. My son's leg got stuck in one of those awkward gaps at the ends and I had to call 911 and have the paramedics and fire department get it out safely. Also, I posted this same review on the Oeuf site so new moms like myself know that it's not the best option and they deleted it. Additionally, there is a really ugly black warning label on one of the ends (that is not advertised in photos) that is NOT removable. Understand these Warnings need to be put on the cribs, but they should advertise than a non-removable warning is on the crib. ... show more

  • UNSAFE - creates thousands of sharp splinters
Color: White
This crib is plain unsafe. The baby did this? In a few weeks? And Oeuf tells me this is normal. Some splinters are 1/2 inch long.
