I was really excited to install the OEDRO 46 Inch LED Light Bar for my 2020 Jeep Gladiator JT, as it looked like a great fit for my vehicle and the specs seemed perfect for my off-road needs. Unfortunately, right before I was about to install it, I broke my foot, and with winter setting in, I realized I wouldn’t be able to get the job done. I ended up sending the light bar back, but I’m looking forward to trying it again in the spring when I can get back to working on my Jeep. The product itself looked solid and I’m sure it would’ve been a great addition to my setup. The 2Pcs 4" Tri LED lights looked like they’d offer great auxiliary lighting, and the overall build seemed well-made. Just a heads-up: if you’re in a similar situation with a time-sensitive install, you might want to plan ahead or wait until you're ready for the installation. I can’t wait to try it when I can actually get out and install it!

The video shows a 4 lane highway through the mountains with normal lights, brights on (which i thought were bright enough) and then the light bar on. I was able to mount and wire this into my bumper by myself and it was great. It even stayed mounted AND continued to work perfectly fine after a spare tire fell off a vehicle and smacked my bumper while driving! I have it disconnected now because I’m going to install it somewhere else but I will be using this as long as I can. I’m extremely happy with this purchase!

The media could not be loaded. Overall I think these are quality lights for the price. The lights came out of the box and the the housings feel solid and quality built. I quickly hooked them up to 12v power source to make sure they worked out of the box, don't install them and then find out they don't work. Also while you're testing them be careful not to be staring at them...they are VERY bright. The instructions are useless you can see that in my image of them, 3 pages and a few sentences a page. The install is pretty straight forward if you are familiar with wiring, wire routing and tinkering. If you are not there are about a thousand youtube videos for this kit and you should be able to get over what ever hump held you up. The way the light cubes mounted to their brackets had me scratching my head so to the interwebs I went and had the correct install method in about 5 minutes. As other reviews have noted, this kit DOES NOT provide enough wire or an interconnect for the cube lights. The harness that's included is everything you need for the bar but nothing for the cubes. I knew this but still found it annoying that I had build a wire harness for the cubes, I do a lot of electrical work so I had the wire, connectors, and consumables and I STILL found it annoying. For others this might be a show stopper requiring more online shopping for parts or a trip to the store. OEDRO could kick the price $10 include another wiring harness and doubtful that price jump would scare anyone away at this price point. I would have given 5 stars if that was the case, but without it the install is more difficult. The switch that is provided with this kits is pretty weak. It's a button toggle that has the wire coming out of the bottom of the switch housing and the switch has an adhesive back. This means that you surface mount the switch and then have to route the wire on the surface to hide it. I didn't like this so I snipped their switch off (saved it for a future kids project) and installed a rocker toggle into the dash with the wires behind the dash. You can still use their harness so you can unplug the switch easily. Also in this install I used Dean's connectors to hook the light umbilical to the wiring harness. I think a lot of people hard connect the wires but I prefer to be able to disconnect stuff easily. This makes it cake for light swaps, troubleshooting, or if you want easy access to 12v source outside of the cab for something you can make adapters to hook up to the Dean's Connectors. If you use Dean's you need to be able to solder, if you can't then you could use crimp-able blade connections. Either way if you put a connection together outside of the engine compartment or cab make sure you seal the connection. Either shrink sleeving, electrical tape, or silicon. I included an image of where I put the Dean's connector for the light bar, it's where the loose ends of the wire from the light bar come out. As for brightness...WHOA! These lights are like carrying a sun around. You can see this is the videos I have on here. My iPhone doesn't do my headlights justice, they are aftermarket LED headlights and through the camera they look pretty weak but when driving I feel they provide really good light. When you turn on this light bar it lights up the landscape like you are at a movie set. They work really well. Overall happy with the purchase, well worth the money. Instructions could use some work and OEDRO should provide wiring harnesses for all lights. Those are the only shortfalls. Oh the whistle, all light bars whistle. Use some tape, foam, whatever on some of the lower fins to help reduce this. Take care not to cover them all up, they are there to pull heat away from the LEDs.

The light bar is nice and bright but I did encounter a couple problems and after a year of trying to figure out a solution I finally wanted to give this review. First, the bolts that come with the lightbar to mount it onto the brackets were not strong enough to hold the lightbar during heavy use. I replaced them and added super glue to hold them in, I guess locktite would also work but I didn't have any at the time. Secondly, when mounted the lightbar causes such a horrific whistle that I had to drive with ear plugs in. It seems that the air flow over the fins on the back of the bar is what causes the whistle. After a year, I have managed to get rid of the whistle for the most part by taking a 2" PVC pipe, cutting it in half and zip tying it over the back of the lightbar (Pic1). I then took a small amount of fiberglass insulation and filled in the ends of the lightbar. Finally, I took gorilla tape and applied it to the bottom of the lightbar to completely cover the fins (Pic 2, not really easy to see). If I knew then what I know now I might have looked for a different lightbar to begin with.

Wow i bought this light bar for a trip just before the artic circle up in the tundra to be put on my atv, let me tell you what folks this thing is amazing. The waterproof on it is awesome and didn’t fail once. Another thing no moisture build up any where after being submerged in a lake. also easy to wire up, and I was amazed How insanely bright. I was the leader of the pack the entire time we were out. It was so bright I could see about 2 miles ahead of me in pitch dark. Everyone laughed and and called me daywalker because it was so awesome. I hope one day they will have bigger than 20” and do like a 30” or 35” maybe even a 40” eaither way I’ll definitely be buying again. Lastly the price was so awesome too did cost a crazy amount of money. I was scared because I thought it would be a cheap build and crappy product but I was totally wrong. for an awesome price you get an amazing product and your up and running in no time. I’ll definitely recommend this to anyone friends and family and to others out there. Great product for any outdoorsman or any application.
