First, I ordered two packages of these to create a darts shield for a patio room wall. I got a new dart board for my BD, but having had some experience with them a long time ago, I knew that playing darts can do some serious damage to the walls on which they're mounted. I checked around and the unanimous opinion was to use cork. As these tiles are 1/2" thick, that would be ideal. They seemed to be very well made. But after letting sit opened for an hour or two, I noticed they were starting to warp; instead of remaining completely flat, the centers of the tiles started to rise a little bit on the adhesive side. As I had no other alternative, I started to place the tiles on the wall. If you're going to cut these tiles, you might want to sacrifice one tile to see how your technique works. The cork is, for cork, quite hard, and almost impossible to cut cleanly with a very sharp knife. Thick cork crumbles if you're using a dull tool, or a coarse saw. I ended up using a handheld power jig saw with extremely sharp Bosch saw blades of type TP144. The cut edges were not glassy smooth but kind of a "sandy" rough, and that was good enough to blend with edges on adjacent tiles w/o being obvious. My "fitting" of the tiles was not perfect, but it was good enough for wall protection, especially when one considers that darts are usually played in bars with a beer in the other hand. I'll update this after a few weeks with regard to the quality of the adhesive. ... show more

Love these! I had three of them up on my wall by my desk but we are moving and I had to take them off the wall. They are impossible to remove! I started trying to peel them off and it was SO hard. So in a good sense they stick well, but good luck taking them off. Let me know if you figure out how to remove them without wanting to punch a wall! ... show more

Bought this to put behind our dartboard so we didn’t get holes in the wall (if we missed) and it’s perfect! It is self adhesive which is convenient. Hopefully it doesn’t pull the paint off the wall, but great thickness for what we wanted and the quadrants made it easy to place wherever we needed

My husband and I thought we had solved our family photo display problem. Bought 18 of these to adhere to the wall. Boy did they adhere! Only problem is, we changed our mind because it made the space look too "employees staff room" looking. The product is great just be super sure you want it where you stick it because now we need to repaint the whole wall. They do not come off easily and will take paint and drywall with it.
