    • Love to shoe, not sure I ordered the correct size.
I love snowshoeing! It makes me want it to snow! That said, I am not sure if I ordered the wrong size shoes, but I sink several inches into the snow. I weigh 130, and bought 25s. I need to research how much should i float on the snow. But, the shows are well built and fun!

I have used them a couple times now and they work great. The straps hold your feet in snug and the webbings hold up well. I am a bigger guy and they worked good in deep snow.

I ordered size 21inch, my husband ordered 25inch. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this item. We were having a hard time finding snowshoes in stores and decided to try amazon. Not being able to physically touch the item we were just happy to order anything we might be able to use. WOW! I love these snowshoes! The "shoes" are very sturdy and easy to put on and clip. The poles are very sturdy - easy to adjust. The gaiders are great and I'll use them for other snow sports, and to wrap up a great package - the carrying case make it so convenient!! I love the ratchet binding which fastens to my boot. You simply slide your foot into the binding and easily tighten the ratchet strap around your boot. Takes seconds un like my old snowshoes which had a series of straps which took forever to tighten. The heel strap is also easily snapped into place in seconds. I ordered these mainly because they would come soon so I could use them for end of winter, and the bindings looked simple. I had to return other brands that were nice but had faulty binding systems. So these bindings work just fine. I like these shoes but I think a bit overpriced although they came with poles and gaitors. I would have liked them to be tapered toward the back. I think they hit a little too much being wide all the way through. But hey, got us out on the trails. I am being picky otherwise these are very nice. ... show more

The snowshoes and I had our first adventure this weekend, going up 1000 feet to a snowed-over lake. The shoes went on fine, were easily adjustable, and weighed almost nothing. The poles, with the basket attachments, worked great, though I had to tighten them once or twice (my fault). I didn’t need the gaiters this time, as there was a packed trail most of the time. Easy to put on, I like the way it adjusts to my foot and then I don’t need to adjust anymore. A couple things I did experience was when it was warmer with sticky snow the snow built up in the spikes and I needed to shake it off. It wasn’t a normal issue, just a warm day issue.
