Liked the color of these snow shoes & the poles adjusted well with larger snow add on. Did not like how narrow & cheaply made the gaiters were....I'm thin...but, they barely fit my leg. Also, the adjustable cording at top ripped out before I even got outside. I am still not sure about the design of the claw part. The snow shoes made kind of a suction /walking on empty milk jug sound in use; which may have been due to that upper strap area kind of rubs against the webbing part. It may gnaw it's way through to ruin said bindings...only time will tell. The carry bag was barely large enough to fit the shoes (& they had to be put in just so)- I did receive a replacement when I sent 1st pair back...but, then was shipped a smaller size 21"! So, still trying to get it right. ... show more

I just started snowshoeing this winter. This package came with everything I needed except boots. The snowshoes, poles, gaiters, etc. are rugged and the binding system is perfect. I snowshoe across โ€œpickedโ€ corn fields and through the woods where I live. I have not had any issues. They light weight makes snowshoeing effortless. The video, pics and general description of this product advertise heel lifters to assist in going uphill. However, there were none on the snowshoes. Just some plating. Also, the rubber on the heel straps of the shoes was very large so that I couldn't shorten the strap enough to fit tightly enough around my boot. Quite disappointed as the rest of the snowshoes and everything else that came with them seemed to be decent quality. I'll be returning these. ... show more

    • Heel strap can be tricky
Overall these are a great value. I walked many snowy miles in these. My only real complaint would be that the heel strap has a tendency to loosen up and if you have really large winter boots they might not fit at all. I wear a men's 8-8 1/2 and my big sub zero boots barely fit in, so if you're someone with size 11 boots these might not work for you. ... show more

    • Helped me get to my bird feeders in deep snow this last winter!

We had up to three feet of snow and being I am only just over five feet tall...I could not get to all my bird feeders this last winter. My neighbor suggested snow shoes. Worked very well even while carrying two bags of seed! And it amused my husband who watched out the window.

FIrst time snowshoer and it could not be easier. They were easy to put on, and came with everything I need. I haven't used the gaiters yet, but I think they will come in hand. Poles were great and easy to adjust. However, they do need to be shortened to fit back into the case so I probably won't put them in the case that often. ... show more
