I'm a beginner snowshoer and have only gone once now but will certainly not be my last. I purchased these and am very pleased. They were very light and comfortable and easy to walk in. They came with the poles and carry case. My only issue was with the poles. I wasn't able to switch the "feet" of them for some reason and the pole slipped a a couple times but am very happy with the quality and pricing of them. Would reccommend!

Still new. Light weight. Latches are stiff yet, sure overtime they will get warn in and easier to latch. Having the full set and a bag to boot is well worth the money. This item can't be beat. We have the 30 inch shoes.

We are having an epic snowfall in my mountain town this month so decided to order these snowshoes. What a terrific purchase! The snowshoes work great, the gaiters are super (with zippers and velcro) and the poles are perfect and easy to use. They arrived quickly and the snowshoes are super easy to adjust the fit! Amazing value to boot! Out into the snow I go!

We have had a horrible "old school" winter this past year with feet and feet of snow. We ended up in a situation where we absolutely had to retrieve some things from a place that had become a "you can't get there from here" because of the compounded feet of snow. My boyfriend strapped these snowshoes on and went on his way. They saved the day for us legitimately. Once you figure out the straps work and how they fit to your boots you are on your way. Before you put them on, take note of the metal teeth on the bottoms of them. Its good to practice a little bit before you start your journey as you will need to account for the depth of those metal teeth on the bottom in how you walk so you won't catch your feet up and trip.

We've done a lot of X-C skiing, but had never used snowshoes before. I imagined a weird, awkward gait in snowshoes. These worked perfectly, and weren't awkward at all. We bought because we realized that a few times renting snowshoes, if we liked it, would cost us more than buying exactly the right size right from the start. We loved it. We walk a lot in the woods 8 months a year. Now we can take quiet walks in the woods during the winter months as well. X-C skis for aerobics; snowshoes for the quiet, remote walks.

I assume the majority of reviews here are made by people who know nothing about snowshoeing. These are cheaply made. Non-reparable. Every part is riveted plastic. Don't take these out in the field and depend on them! If they break (WHEN they break) you will be stranded in the snow. These are made for 1 hour snow warrior's in the park for a stroll after a hard snow, not for any enthusiast or outdoors expert. Indeed, the zip ties were of higher quality than the product itself. If you stripped off all the plastic, and that is a considerable amount of plastic, you would have an aluminum frame that could probably be adapted to do a professional job. The buckles on these things are dreadful, loose out of the box, and do not ratchet well. I expect they'll fail within a week or two. But I am not going to wait that long. I am sending these back and doing what I should have done to begin with: make my own.

Not the best, but not the worst. The bindings are extremely fragile and made with cheap plastic. They work! But are for light duty at most.
