Liked the color of these snow shoes & the poles adjusted well with larger snow add on. Did not like how narrow & cheaply made the gaiters were....I'm thin...but, they barely fit my leg. Also, the adjustable cording at top ripped out before I even got outside. I am still not sure about the design of the claw part. The snow shoes made kind of a suction /walking on empty milk jug sound in use; which may have been due to that upper strap area kind of rubs against the webbing part. It may gnaw it's way through to ruin said bindings...only time will tell. The carry bag was barely large enough to fit the shoes (& they had to be put in just so)- I did receive a replacement when I sent 1st pair back...but, then was shipped a smaller size 21"! So, still trying to get it right.

Overall these are a great value. I walked many snowy miles in these. My only real complaint would be that the heel strap has a tendency to loosen up and if you have really large winter boots they might not fit at all. I wear a men's 8-8 1/2 and my big sub zero boots barely fit in, so if you're someone with size 11 boots these might not work for you.

I just started snowshoeing this winter. This package came with everything I needed except boots. The snowshoes, poles, gaiters, etc. are rugged and the binding system is perfect. I snowshoe across “picked” corn fields and through the woods where I live. I have not had any issues. They light weight makes snowshoeing effortless. So much so that I look forward to going out.

We're new to snowshoeing and waded through an array of choices & reviews before setting on these. We thought they were great - easy to use, functional, sturdy enough to withstand us tripping over our own feet. Again, we are beginners, but thought they were a pretty good deal given the price. We went snowshoeing up in VT this winter, and look forward to using them again.

The video, pics and general description of this product advertise heel lifters to assist in going uphill. However, there were none on the snowshoes. Just some plating. Also, the rubber on the heel straps of the shoes was very large so that I couldn't shorten the strap enough to fit tightly enough around my boot. Quite disappointed as the rest of the snowshoes and everything else that came with them seemed to be decent quality. I'll be returning these.
