  • Great for Walking.
Size: 10 Color: Army Green
One of the best flip flops for walking in. I have owned Olukai, Reef, Skechers and more. These are the best.

  • This is what you should expect for these sandals
As someone who lives on flips flops i think i can make a good comparative on other similar sandals on other brands like REEF Quiksilver and Olu Kai. There are other brands I know, that i have tested like TEVA, Spenco, Addidas, Chacos, Columbia, Keen, Eddie Bauer, among others. But neither of these have that surfers looking styles, so I'm basing my review on the brands that have them and that i have tested. So let's start whit the good things. First of, package came off and i hadn't any issues on shipping. Secondly construction quality is really good there are no lose stitches, everything is well glued, and surfaces are really even, for this price it's the least you can expect from these sandals and they deliver nicely. The style is really great too, i just really wanted some red men flops that has that sport/surfer look, that doesn't exaggerate whit the red coloring on all its surfaces (looking at you Puma and Birkenstok), and these just give you that, they are really stylish; they have a good measure on black and red coloring that doesn't irritate or claim others attention to your feet, you can get some clothing whit similar colors and combine them really well. And that's all the good things i can say about these sandals. As you can see on my 3 stars review, i have some issues. First off it's comfort, the most important thing for me in sandals. Material selection have a really good construction theory here, they even have the same construction as OluKai Ohanas: a thin soft on touch material on the foot bed, an upper whit a really nice smooth clothing and padding on the inside. But the soles is the real game breaker here, as you see, Ohanas soles are a mix of something really durable and somewhat soft rubber, combine that whit the soft material on the footbed and your feet get some nice cushioning here (not spectacular as REEF Cushion moothies or adidas Adilette but you get my idea). Oakley's Coil sandal have the same construction, but material selection is the worst, they used the most hard rubber they could find for the sole (Ok, its seems very durable i know), but that sole combined whit the thin soft material on the footbed makes your feet steep on a really hard material that's a also hard to bent and barely has any cushioning, on top of that the small protuberance that separate your toes (i love these on my Quiksilver Rivi's) gets really annoying, because these doesn't cushion and don't adapt to your steeping. In short, it's very deceiving the comfort on these sandals, on touch they seem soft and comfy, but when you're wearing them, they are really hard. Other issue i have on the comfort side is the footbed design, in the sale pics they seem to have a really nice arch support but in reality this is very flat, almost non existent. You can get some decent arch support on other brands like Quiksilver, TEVA Chaco or Spenco (if you're on hard footbeds), or even OluKai (if you have that money for a pair of sandals). But, if you want some serious arch support, REEF is your way to go (looking at you Cushion Spring sandals...). Another issue is sizing, i wear size 9 in shoes and sandals (universally it's my size to go). But, if you're looking at pics, you can see that Oakley's coil sandals are almost half an inch shorter than my REEF Cushion spring. Strangely enough they seem to be the same size as my Quiksilver Rivi Sandals, but the fit in these is really nice, my talon doesn't feel like its hanging on the edge even though Oakley coil sandal have a really good talon coup as Rivi's, But still it looks like my feet are almost hanging of the edge, maybe when i break them it will be fixed... So if you order these, i recommend to get a size up. So my final issue is pricing, as you can see, price, style and comfort is never equal. I'm willing to pay high for a product that fills my expectations, and Oakley's coil sandal are a bit pricey and i don't think that suits me well because i prioritize comfort on my sandals and i don't think it's worth that price. You can also get some good style AND comfort on OluKai, (but oh those prices...). If you really like the Oakley's surfer style (and i really dig it a lot) and don't mind comfort, i suppose this is your go. If you like comfort and don't want some minimum surfers style, go Quiksilver Rivi, they are really cheap and really comfy, these have a decent arch support. If you want some middle ground go REEF, prices are very similar to Oakley's ones (and there are some cheap ones too), styles are not great and not bad either, and comfort is variable; you can get some really soft sandals that doesn't have any arch support like the cushion smoothie, you could get some arch support but harder soles on Fanning and phantoms models, you can also get a middle ground whit the cushion phantoms, and i if you like arch support like a mountain get the Cushion Spring sandals until they stop producing them... Hope this review helped you to make a decision. ... show more

  • Nice, but it could be better
Size: 10 Color: Grey/Orange
These flipflops are comfortable but they are right to size. Many would be more comfortable at least one size larger. They're also more narrow. So the Supercoil might be a better fit. I've had them and had no complaints. I only bought these to replace them after 6/7 years. The footbed is arched and comfortable. Normal foam rubber soles. They look nice on with a light grey almost white color. Great around the pool but get dirty easily. ... show more

  • Flip flops worth extra
Size: 12 Color: Blackout
Best for my 79 year old feet. They stay on and provide decent support/cushion for my feet. Worth the extra $$

  • Molds to your feet
At first, they felt weird. Over a few days, my feet molded into the sandals and my arch feels supported. Love the sandals, I bought two more in different colors.

  • Waste of your money
Size: 9 Color: Black
I have the previous O coil sandals and love them. These are terrible. I had a blister on both inner feet after wearing for 15 mins. Must be a different fabric then the previous ones. Really disappointed. Will probably just end up throwing them away.

  • Not for wide feet
Size: 10 Color: Blackout
I am a size 10 and have a slightly wide foot than most. Nothing wrong with the product. It is all good and durable. There is no option to get 10W or else I would purchase the correct one.
