First off not green at all very brown second it’s so messy and in little piece everywhere! And such a pain to have to wet let dry then use it most of mine went down drain it was like dirt not moss!! Hobby lobby has better!!

Mine was brown. Very very brown. Zero green. It stinks to high heaven when it's wet. I used it on a small individual trellis in one of my potted house plants that lives in my bedroom, and whenever I wet it down, my bedroom smells like the wickedest farts you've ever experienced in your life. Outdoor use only, I'd say.
