I was looking for a light wash, and these are a perfect color. This style is not too wide. Size down. The brand runs large. I usually wear a 10 or 12 pant and ordered these in an 8. I'm 5'8'' and they length is perfect. NYJD is a well-made product. I have worn them for many years and have lots of pairs. They wash well and last a long time. The price was nice too.

I was really excited to find this brand of jeans on Amazon for tens of dollars less than department store websites (I’ve always wanted a pair.) However I wrongly assumed that the name indicated these would be sized and more fugue flattering for moms and older women who don’t want low or mid rise jeans that accent the all to common “muffin top” that langurs us after kids and age. These are not a mid rise or high rise jean. The product description and size chart does not provide this measurement so buyer beware. The waist band is too loose for the hip measurement and sits at the perfect level to highlight a muffin top or belly. I ordered one size down due to the customer reviews and the stretchy fabric content. Dissapointed to discover they were still too large. I deducted an additional star from my review due to the extra long inseam. Before hemming they were approximately 33” and not suitable for my 5’5” height. I ended up hemming them approximately three inches to wear with flats.

Wow, this was so not good for me. I'm 5'2 and let me tell you, this were long. When I say long, I'm saying I would need at least 5" wedges/shoes/heels to make this work. The material was soft though and maybe if you were a giant, these would be super cute. But you short girls out there, beware.

I work at a high end clothing boutique and the fabric is comparable for a fraction of the price. I believe the fit would work for all body types. I have narrow hips and thin legs and they are so flattering. It’s hard for me to find women’s pants that fit me. I’m a fashion stylist so I also can see that they would be excellent for curvy shaped women as well. The right amount of spandex and they’re not see through like many white jeans are. The trouser fit is perfect if wide leg jeans aren’t for you. I will try other colors!
