  • Exactly what I was looking for!
Size: 8.5 Color: Grey
First I just want to say that the people who are saying these are not real NurseMates haven't done their research. Align is a product line made by NurseMates and if you don't believe me go to their website nurse mates.com. This Amazon listing does use slightly outdated images so if you want to see exactly what the shoes will look like I would go to the website. I've recently started a new job in a hospital where I'm on my feet all day. I was looking for a shoe that would be comfortable, supportive, and meet the solid (not mesh) upper requirements for my job. These are everything I wanted! I have bad feet that lead to ankle, knee, and back pain if I stand too long. I have custom orthotics and these feel EXACTLY LIKE THEM! Before I got these I had bought a popular (and more expensive) healthcare shoe. While they were extremely cushioned they had zero support whatsoever and no room for my orthotics. As soon as I tried these on I immediately returned the other ones. I've already gotten compliments from coworkers that love the look of these. They're easy to slip on, extremely supportive, and I love that I can wipe off any spills. My only complaint is that they are pretty squeaky on the floors at the hospital but I suspect it's due to the anti-slip feature. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for support, comfort, and convenience. I will be repurchasing these whenever I wear this pair out. ... show more

  • Very good fit for my feet
I tried a different shoe brand for nurses but the fit was absolutely terrible for me and after going through the trouble of troubleshooting it to try to make it fit right and then returning it, I just ordered the same Nursemates shoe model that worked for me before and that got worn out to the max, but a different pattern/color. I've gotten a few compliments already. At certain angles the pattern is shiny (someone even asked if there's glitter) but it's just the glossy embossing. The design doesn't even standout too much. It goes well with all my scrubs. It's not a cheap shoe but as a shoe for nurses, there's more shoes out there that are a lot more expensive; and you have to invest in shoes that you're going to stand and walk in 2000+ steps a day, shoes that you're gonna be wearing for 12 hours x3 per week, week after week after week. My feet don't feel as tired after a shift compared to wearing walking/running shoes. Most importantly the fit is really good for my feet. My feet are narrow and bony (I don't have a lot of muscle/tissue to my feet), I got bunions. I didn't need to break in these shoes. True to size. I'm going to stick with this Nursemates model. ... show more

  • Great Shoe for Floor Nurses
Size: 9 Color: Denim Print
At first I was skeptical that these shoes would be better than my worn-out Nikes. After one 12-hour shift the top of my toes in the left shoe were raw/sore. I wasn’t sure if it was good fit. But the next 12 shift, they were fine. My feet don’t hurt after a 12 hour shift, so I’m happy. They’re a bit clunky like those dansko clogs, but I don’t mind. I feel like my feet are protected from needles and spills with the tough and wipe-able exterior. I did have to remove the insoles as the left arch was uncomfortable. I ended up using my custom-made insoles for a better fit. Overall, I really like this shoe. ... show more

  • Very comfortable and Supportive Shoe
Size: 8 Wide Color: Grey
I am retired. I have plantar fasciitis and chronic back pain. My home is on a cement slab and is all porcelain tile. I have been on a search for a shoe that would help with both problems. I found these and tried them on and was immediately comfortable in them. They have both support and a sponginess that acts as a shock absorber to these floors. There is so much support that I have not had to add my orthotics. I have worn them for 3 days straight and have been very happy with the purchase. I did change the laces so that they were a little bit tighter when laced up. I am so happy with these! UPDATE: I have been wearing these daily for 6 or 7 weeks. They look great! They are easily cleaned. I also have had support and comfort all the time. I cannot wait to get them on in the morning, because I actually have comfort and support. I will buy again. Also I find that 36 inch flat shoe laces work best. ... show more

  • Wide isn't wide enough
Size: 9 Wide Color: Black Camo
Wide does not fit, feel, or look wide. They're cute, and wore well on various work surfaces- concrete, slick, so maybe I will go up .5 size in hopes of more toe box room.

  • Best Nursing Shoes I've Owned So Far
For the price point and the quality and features you're going to get this is a no brainer. I hate shoes that need to be "broken in". They should be comfortable from day one. With that said, I have high arches and history of plantar fasciitis. The insoles are very supportive of my arches. My feet are comfortable all day. The design gets a lot of compliments. They sparkle in just the right light as if they have diamond dust on them. I like that this style has a black sole to cover up smudges and dirt. They look cleaner longer than if you buy a design with the white soles, I'd imagine. I have somewhat narrow feet so I had to tighten the laces to keep it a slip-on shoe. They don't really tell you what to do with the extra lace so I just wound it into the criss cross laces to hold it in. ... show more

  • Not same shoes as pictured At All-material seems super cheap.
Size: 7 Color: White
One star because pictures are a total lie. The shoes I received are more rounded in toe area. There is no “heart” on side signifying authentic Nursemates shoes. Shoe laces and bottom outside sole looks exactly as pictured. I have two pairs of the” real” Align Nursemates and they work so well that I wanted more; hence me buying 2 more. The Align series and Brooks seems to work better for me than any others. I last about 2/3 hours in these unlike 20-30 minutes in all Other brands. I still switch them out with all the other name brand tennis shoes when my feet starts to hurt. I HAAAAATE TENNIS SHOES And THEY HATE ME JUST AS MUCH. So I have to buy these ugly shoes for work but because I Hate All tennis shoes-I couldn’t care how they look/how much they cost as long as I could continue to work without dying from my feet hurting so badly. HOW THEY FEEL: I bought 2 pairs-black and white. If you’re looking for arch support-exactly why I bought these-they’re great. Outside material repels water. I’ve worn the white ones once for 2 hours and they’re not as cushiony as the black ones. The white ones also pinches the top area of my arches, especially on the left side. The black ones even after wearing them twice at about 3/4 hours each time is very cushiony and doesn’t pinch anywhere. I’ll try to update once I “break” them in. I go through these tedious reviews because I want to help others the way other people’s honest reviews has Immensely helped me. Good luck, y’all!! ... show more

  • First shoes I bought and love
Size: 8 Color: White
I usually don’t ever write reviews but these I had to. My lower back tends to bother me when I’m walking or standing for more than about an hour or so. I got these shoes for my clinical to start wearing. I never had a job where I was on my feet so much and moving around so I knew I needed a good pair of shoes. These shoes fit just like a glove, I do wear thicker socks with them so they fit better to my foot. I ordered my usually size. I did see people’s reviews of them that they run the top of their foot, I would think to just try a size up or something but I don’t know. My back does not bother me, my knees don’t and I am standing majority of the time during my shift. I would recommend giving a shot, I haven’t tried other sneakers these are the first ones I bought and they worked for me. ... show more
