There are no words to express just how much I love this dress. I’m on a weight loss journey and this was a well priced transitional piece I got for the Derby but will be wearing to lots of other occasions. Being 5’11”, it’s often difficult to find long sleeves that are actually long enough, but this dress fits like a dream and I will actually be able to wear it as I continue to lose. This dress checks all the boxes - comfortable, light and airy; can wear casual or dress up with accessories; I can see this being a go-to for summer. This dress doesn’t appear to be made out of the same material as what the model, in the pictures, appears to be wearing; her fabric appeared thicker. The fabric is very thin (my bra showed when I wore a color other than black) so if you don't want people seeing the color of your bra; black will be your best friend. Despite that, the dress is flowy which works perfectly for me. Another plus is that I’m 5’7 and the dress is long enough that it covers my feet completely when standing. My biggest complaint, and why I've given 3 stars, with this dress is that it wasn’t sewn very well. Upon receiving it, I feared putting it on and taking it off because I was afraid that the stitching would come apart at the seams. Once I got it on, I loved the way it looked on me but didn’t like that the fabric for the arms doesn’t stretch. I think the arms should have just a tad bit more room (my arms are big) especially since the size that I ordered was a 2X. The slip that is sewn into the dress is white, which makes it noticeable, isn’t of good quality, and wasn’t properly sewn inside of the dress. I had to take the dress to a seamstress to have the stitching, around the arms, shoulders, and waist, replaced with a more durable/stronger thread and add a better quality elastic band at the waist. The dress is pretty, I received tons of compliments, but it wasn’t sewn well and is of cheap quality. I strongly encourage buyers to hand wash the dress because I washed mine in the washing machine and it weakened the material even more. I would love to buy other dresses from this seller but my concern is that I'll most likely spend extra money, again, to take it to a seamstress for alterations. ... show more

WOW! I really didn't expect this dress to fit so well and look so great on my particular frame/height. etc. I am 5'9" tall and wearing 2X in tops and bottoms most of the time. I ordered the 4X in the dress based on the size chart and what the other reviewers were saying. I have 44DD chest and this dress was just perfect--didn't even really gap or show much cleavage. It looks great and even hubs said so !! Will likely order another one in a different color. I ordered the "Navy" which actually has a lot of different colors including some orange which is what I was looking for. Didn't even notice the lining showing through but it is stops about knee length so might get a longer slip once I see how it looks in different lighting. ... show more
