I have a "dressier" and more more expensive pair of fisherman-style sandals, and I purchased these last year for more rugged use: on a boat, on the beach, in water, etc. I just brought these with me on an 18-day trip to Spain, Portugal, Morocco, and back to Portugal again. These are the ONLY shoes I wore! I had other items with me, but day after day, I went to this Nunn Bush pair. I walked miles in them every day, up and down the hills of the Fez medina, up the mountain to Pena Palace at Sintra, miles of city streets, 6 one-way flights, across the endless cobblestones of Lisbon and Seville. I never once got a blister or became especially sore. These shoes are amazing! I washed them in the washing machine when I got home, and they are still in great condition! 5 Stars for sure. ... show more

I've been wearing fisherman sandals for about the past 30 years.. and I'm really particular about them. These absolutely exceeded my expectations, especially for the price... Of course, wouldn't you know, the day they were delivered? I saw they had dropped another $5. Oh well, no biggie. I'm very satisfied. I do hope they hold up, they appear to be of good quality. If you're on the fence about them, I would just pull the trigger! You can always return them if you don't like them. ... show more

Theses are very nice Sandals. They are true to size. Very comfortable and well made. Although they are not real leather, they appear to be unless you examine them from close up.

As the title says, I could use a half size, specifically 10.5 wide. I've endured smaller sizes in the past with regret, unfortunately, 11's in this sandal are just too darn big. I do like the color, overall comfort is good, and having the heel adjustment is helpful in mitigating the larger size. Unlike some other reviews, even the 11 seems to lager than most as I often wear 11's in shoes with good results. I don' think these are "true to size". ... show more
